Quaint little shop for New Orleans style fair. Everything made to order. The lady was very polite and welcoming. Seating is outside around the back. The homemade jambalaya was outstanding. Definitely excited to go back and try some of the other selections.

I have been missing crawfish etoufee as it is nearly impossible to come by here in South FL. This is completely authentic as if you were in the Big Easy. Here’s hoping Ellis and his wife open a brick and mortar restaurant where they can share the cooking on a daily basis instead of just weekends. We need a REAL New Orleans restaurant and they can deliver that.

The best New Orleans home style cooking I have ever had. The service is also great. If you haven’t tried the Ya Ka Mein Soup, you have been missing out. Go see Charla and Ellis, they will definately make you feel at home. Best New Orleans home style food in this neck of the woods.

Native NOLA living in Orlando and visiting family in Hollywood. Saw Big’ Umms New Orleans and that they had vegetarian and vegan options and I was sold. Tasted the food and I was transported back home! Great food and great people. Definitely recommend to vegetarians and vegans alike. I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed the food. Thank you for transporting me back home!

I’ve missed me some good food from home and now I can get it whenever I like I kept holding off on coming here…that was a mistake. If you want some good new Orleans food get yourself up off the couch and come get sum at big umm…s the husband and wife team are just a big dose of sweet humble strong and kind and the food is….perfect I ordered mine as spicy as possible thinking that it was gonna be like everywhere else…not spicy enough….but it was perfect if you don’t like your food burn your tongue hot don’t ask for spicy I love it and the flavor….mmmmm anyways y’all have a good day check them out asap don’t waste time
