The best garbage plate in Buffalo. They call it the great plate. It’s only $6.99 on Tuesdays. $10.99 any other day. Two of the world’s greatest cheeseburgers with Mac salad and home fries. Amazing hot sauce.

Love this place! Just discovered it recently after going there with some friends but we’ve been back many times. They’re famous for the great plate or garbage plate or whatever they call it but all I’ve had there is their burgers. I don’t know what they do but man are those some good burgers. They run a special for $10 you get a great burger, really good fries, and a beer. I get a Sam Adams which is $6 most other places so ten bucks for all that is a steal.

First time here. Service was fast and friendly. However, the food is very expensive and did not taste good at all. My chili cheese fries had cold spots throughout (not slightly warm…COLD) and had almost no cheese with an over abundance of bland chili. My daughter had a slushy with her meal that was nothing more than crushed ice with no flavor in it. Small portions for a high price. Not impressed. I should have taken the empty dining room during dinner hours as a sign and taken my money elsewhere. Sorry Bill Grays but it just wasn’t good.

I’m sorry I can only give 1 star for the dessert. Ice cream was tasty. Fish fry was the worst I ever had in my life. The coleslaw tasted like it’s been sitting in the fridge for months. The Mac n clearly from the box the powered kind. The chicken tenders were rubbery. All around I think this place was not worth a 56.00 dollar check. Paper plates, forks, spoons that bend while trying to eat your ice cream. Just not a good experience at all. Sadly I am disappointed because I’ve been trying to get to eat at this place for years. Totally regret it. Not sure how everyone else is giving all theses stars and rave reviews, I guess some people have different views on how food should really taste.

First time going there while I was working in the area. I had a burger and fries. The fries were done perfect and the burger was made to my liking. The service was good as well. They serve beer too. So if your in the mood for a good burger and in the area Bill Gray’s is a good place to go.

Incredible burgers and fries. They have some other really good stuff too. Not crazy about their ice cream. I thought it had a bit of a weird after taste but if you’re looking for a great reasonably priced burger. This is a great place to go.

LOVE Bill Gray’s!! Their food is always good. They have the BEST fries ever!! They are crinkle cut which is my favorite, and they are always perfectly cooked. I wish I lived closer so that I could go there more often.

This place has the best chicken fingers and curly fries, reasonable prices, and delicious ice cream! The ice cream is best with sprinkles. They have tons of seating and are great for big parties. This is a nice, casual restaurant with the classic hamburgers and ice cream

The ground round burger was made incorrectly…. Instead of offering to make a new one…. The server removed the items (that were not asked for ) into the garbage can and proceeded to put the correct toppings on it…. However, the Mayo couldn’t be removed (and wasn’t asked for!)…. So a NEW burger was requested! The milkshake wasn’t ready…. Until after the two burgers! We were the only customers in line…. Good thing!
