In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.
We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. I come to this Bill Miller quite often. I have used the drive thru, dine-in and order online options. I can, honestly, say that the order accuracy is almost always 100%. My, only, complaint is how long you have to wait at this particular location. I have spent over upwards of 30 minutes in the drive thru at times waiting once I place my order. Today, I dined inside and it was exceptionally clean. The staff are always cordial and helpful. My poor boy sandwich was made exactly as ordered.

Drive thru at 9:11am order bill miller breakfast, sausage hard and dry, eggs hard like its been sitting in steam table for a while, hash browns were good, even my coffee cup had a leak, 11.53 total would’ve been better stopping at denny’s 2nd time being disappointed, will travel a few blocks more to bushes chicken. I ordered a Poboy plus tonight and was used to opening it up and actually finding sliced brisket. Instead, I found a bunch of scraps that wouldn’t even qualify as chopped barbecue because they were hard as a rock and had probably been sitting around for hours. It looked like all of the scraps they could find had been piled onto two pieces of bread. From now on, I’ll stick with the Bill Millers close to Huebner and I 10. I’ve never been disappointed there.

Food quality is fairly consistent. However these guys don’t know how to slice brisket. The brisket they serve on their plates is thin sliced like for a sandwich, Then when you try to cut it up it crumbles into pieces,

My breakfast today was over cooked and portions were abysmal. My bacon and egg taco literally had one tablespoon of hard, dry egg. I basically ate a tortilla with 1 bacon strip because the egg was non-existent. I bought 5 tacos, but only got 2 hot sauces. By far, this is the stingiest Bill Miller franchise I’ve visited.

As always they messed up my order. I’ve given this place so many chances but now I’m done. First of all I ordered bbq chicken and they gave me fried chicken. I asked the girl if she put the bbq sauce in the bag she said yes and of course there wasn’t any sauce. Also I ordered a kids meal and they forgot my brownies and my side. And the hash browns they gave looked like they scraped it from the bottom. For how much you pay workers they should get every order right.

Went through the drive thru. There was a long line and car at the window was taking a long time to get order. When I finally got to the window the lady stated it would be about 7 minutes for the fish I had ordered. Finally got my order. When I got home I did not get the extra lemons and tartar sauce I had requested. Also I asked for potato salad and coleslaw. Instead of coleslaw they gave me green beans. Checked the receipt and it did show extra lemons and tartar sauce and coleslaw. I guess they give you what they want or they don’t know how to read. It is not uncommon to get an incorrect order at this location.

Just left with not receipt even though I asked for it. Ordered 2 turkey poorboys turkey took 10 min just to bring up. slicer sliced it and it sat another 5 minutes. I asked Cameron the teller register. The turkey is just sitting. Can you make my meal. Cameron said its not my job to make he chuckled and took the next order behind me.
