Decent food. They have turkeys and pies during the holiday season that you can buy whole. We mostly go to get tea refills in our big yeti cups and to refill our buckets. Good cheap tea. Fried chicken sandwich is good too. Just too bad prices every where are up.

Best chicken strips in town. Was helped by Angelize in the dining line she even brought my food to the table when the fresh strips came out. She was especially helpful with a great smile. This is definitely my to go to Bill Miller’s.

Great good. Fresh and homemade. I was greeted upon arrival. I tried one Carnie Guasada & one Lean Brisket Taco. Ms. Delgado states her business is successful because of her dedicated staff. Lots of seating is available inside. You can order out or they offer catering. I would recommend their location.

I love Bill Miller’s! But you have to understand that it’s a different kind of BBQ experience. The brisket is cooked offsite and trucked in. However, for a quick and AFFORDABLE brisket sandwich it’s a great deal!

The brisket and sausage tasted great! Even more so with the barbecue sauce. The staff was friendly and even gave us a friendly farewell. There were two issues that stopped me from giving five stars. First the red salsa had a weird pungent smell that we hispanics know comes from it being spoiled, luckily I smell my food before I eat it or I know that would have hurt me later. The second was the bread rolls, they were a little stale and tough, not soft like I’ve had at the one on Everhart. It is a good place for barbecue but be weary of the bread and salsa.

This was a great BBQ experience in the past. Now it’s a mediocre fast food restaurant. Nice building. Most of the veggies were old and not appealing in the least. Young people at this establishment do not take care of business. Pinto beans had been on the hot table for hours Had not been stirred or replenished all day. Won’t go back or recommend to anyone! I am referring to the restaurant in Portland, Tx.

I’m sorry to say that this easily the worst BBQ I’ve ever had in Texas. From the ordering experience (sadly the guy didnt’ listen or assumed I said things that I did not) to the food which was a big let down, it’s a hard pass and I won’t be back again. The brisket portion was small, mostly fat and just soggy meat with grease and no real flavour (like a soggy fat stew). The rice was also bland and tasteless, and the fries were like soggy, greasy re-heated leftovers. Just disappointing.

Love Bill Miller’s, I think these are the fries I love best than any other place, but only when their fresh. I love to get the plate with brisket potato salad and rice. If I feel like eating less I’ll get one chopped with fries of course and their famous large sweet tea. Sometimes I’ll just drive thru for fries and tea nothing else.
