Absolutely love the inside of the restaurant. We could sit at our table right away (4 pm) and the waitress was very nice and helpful, since it was our first time. She took great care of us from the beginning to the end. The food was simply amazing. I had the brisket food platter with fries and pork braised green beans. Husband had BBQ Taco Trio. I highly recommend this place. We will come back for more.

Billiken’s is an outstanding extension of the pedigree of fine restaurants to grace the Chimney’s building in downtown Fredericksburg. Exceptional and exquisite. Well lit and decorated. Exemplary of quality over quantity. Knowledgeable staff with private rooms for parties of people, with varying levels of atmosphere: upstairs where it’s quieter, downstairs can be noisier, and outside bar has a much more relaxed setting. My family and I just visited this past weekend. We are new to the area and heard great reviews about it and even heard the music playing when we were downtown. Let me say, we were not disappointed at all. We loved the pulled pork and the macaroni & cheese dinner. We even stayed a bit longer and had danced during the glow party. Thanks for the great time! This place is very nice and rustic. The smoked bacon is delicious. The pork and sausage are separately superb. And the brisket is delicious too. I was also surprised by the flavor of the collard greens. Fat tip to our server for help and knowledge.
