Tried this restaurant based on reviews but was very disappointed. The service was quick at the drive-thru which was very convenient. Friendly staff, the food however was not that good. I ordered beef brisket plate (deluxe). The brisket was cooked but dry and hard. Almost like chewing a super dry chicken breast. They don’t serve it in slices. Definitely not the “Texas” style as advertised. The sauce like other reviews mentioned had a really weird taste and not appetizing. Potato salad wasn’t favorable. Coleslaw did not look nor taste anything like normal and was very watery. Good touch on the toast though. There might be other items on the menu that are good just not the Brisket if you really know what a brisket is supposed to look and taste like. If you dine in, there seems to be enough parking spaces.

Want to step into a 1950’s Diner with delicious food and attentive friendly customer service? This place is it!!! The chocolate malt is the OG and the cheeseburger basket is reminiscent of a time before they started adding all the preservatives and junk to food. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and customer service. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something different and not a chain. They do only take cash, if you don’t have any, there is an ATM located inside.

We chose to have lunch here, while waiting for time to go to my son’s graduation. The portions for the price was good, the food was made from scratch. The only exception was the sweet potato fries, but they were still delicious! Great family friendly BBQ house, with a working drive thru!

Very disappointed being 1st time eating here. Overpriced for sure..ordered a bowl of stew. For 4$got a half a cup. Pitiful. Then ordered banana pudding..no bananas and no vanilla wafers..will Not be returning. Ripped off

I spent 167.00 on BBQ and sides with 2 quarts of Banana Pudding yesterday 9/20/22 and it was horrible, no bananas to be found anywhere!!Years ago this was Carrollton’s best Nana pudding ANYWHERE. These two quarts did not have the first banana in them. Plus the two girls at the counter were not happy with one another. I just was very disappointed in the pudding. Everything was great. My 2 quarts of stew were watery but still good. What has changed??!!! Saddened 27 year customer.
