Ribs fell off the bone and were very tender and the pulled pork was very good too . There was a lot of flys buzzing around who were enjoying the food as well. They should consider hanging fly strips when it is off hours to combat the situation.

Came here expecting a heisman level bbq but got division 3 college football instead. The pulled pork was very standard, I could tell there was once a time where it was juicy but it was left out for too long. Brisket was so dry and hard it was almost a choking hazard. Ends of the ribs were very dry and borderline inedible, something straight out of a high school cafeteria. Sides are okay. Everything tastes like leftovers. Without the phenomenal service I would have given this a one star. Billy should have stuck to football this food is a stain on his reputation. From now on I will only Billy Sims for his pathetic BBQ.

The food was edible so I gave two stars. They were out of pork and bologna and iced tea. We got brisket and ribs. They were room temperature. The green beans were barely warm. The macaroni and cheese was fine. The baked potato salad was flavorless.

Context is everything. How long has the meat been sitting? How long has the meat been sitting under a heat lamp? Good brisket doesn’t NEED bbq sauce. When you ask for sliced brisket is in thin slices or one huge chunk of meat? No second chances for a good first impression. Asked for a sliced brisket plate. I got one huge chunk of dry as a desert room temperature brisket with just a hint of flavor. $21 for this? Glad there was plenty of bbq sauce on the table. I got through a few bites and threw the rest away. Hopefully your experience will be better. I was just passing through town and I like a good bbq. If I pass through again I will not be stopping here.

My spouse and I stopped here with a travel group (47 people). The smoked chicken was very overcooked and dry. The pulled pork was better. The potato salad was average and tasted like it came pre-mixed from a food service provider. I would not recommend the food here. As the large group was leaving, the workers were putting unused individual potato salads and beans back into the serving containers after sitting on metal roll around racks for 90 minutes in non temperature controlled ambient air. Eight out of 47 are now sick. Probably because of storing potato salad above 41° F as recommended by USDA.

Food was ok. Beans were super runny nothing like they are in all the photos posted around the store. Employees weren’t rude but weren’t friendly either. The cashier didn’t even know how to count change. They had no lids for the regular drink either.

Pork was good, but cold. chicken was dry & tough. The banana pudding was without bananas and the cookies in it were dry, the pudding itself tasted generic. The service was fast & fair. Would not eat here again
