Food is good, customer service needs work. The employees seemed more interested in rushing me to order. I asked the gentleman did they have baked potatoes and he said they were out and it would take 3 hours to make. little did he know, I worked at Billy Sims bbq and the potatoes doesn’t take three hours. If you just didn’t want to make one then you could have just said that don’t lie. Anyway, Customer service sucks, but the food is pretty good.

Did take out. Got the Family deal for $40. It was delicious. Sliced brisket, baked beans, potato salad. Fed 3 adults and have lots of leftovers. Highly recommend.

The owner need to teach these employees manners and cleanliness. The guy in the glasses is always scratching his head or rubbing his nostrils with gloves in in front of customers, so disgusting and unsanitary. I just walked out after telling him about it and he still didn’t change gloves or wash his nasty hand’s handling food. Not safe at all.

Billy Sims has good bbq. However, full disclosure, I am not a rib eater. I go for the smoked turkey. My last visit, I was disappointed that there was a supply issue with the turkey (not their fault) and had chicken I stead. Love the BBQ beans. I usually get it to go, and on this visit, there was one employee, and service was a bit slow.

This is the place if you want great brisket. Both chopped and sliced are juicy, tender, and well seasoned with minimal gristle. And I highly recommend the loaded potato. Two people can share one, and it will leave you craving for more. This is my go to place for awesome brisket and the Hot “Boot Kickin” BBQ sauce is so good and spicy that you will buy yourself a bottle.

We ordered some barbecue for Memorial Day dinner for us and guests. We picked it up, came home, and discovered ZERO barbecue sauce at all! How do you get barbecue with no sauce?! We then had to go back to get the sauce, causing the food to get cold. Very little customer service and NO apologies offered (oh, but they gave one desert as a token gesture.) Apologies would have meant more. We then come home to eat it to find, at this point, not one, but FOUR pieces of plastic in the meat. WTH!? Good thing Billy didn’t play football with this same level of patheticness!

We ordered from here last night and it was extremely UNDERWHELMING! First off they forgot my brisket (no worries… I had to drive back and get it SMH) and then when I finally ate the food it was NOT GOOD. The ribs were very dry (scraping the meat off the bone felt like chalk) the brisket was ok I guess and the Cole slaw was way too vinegary (add some sugar or something to balance the tartness). My family’s dishes were also underwhelming. Pulled pork sandwiches with dry pork. Add some sauce or juices. So if your in the mood for MEH bbq stop by and get some. I will not be returning.

Never been there before but I can guarantee that every time I do come into town, I will be making a stop here. Staff greeted every person that walked in. Restaurant was clean and inviting. I ordered a sandwich plate, and at first bite I literally said Wow. And again at first bite of the Classic Potato Salad. I really like that. Visited during lunch time and I think I’ve already mentioned it to 2 others.
