Everything is cooked to perfection. So much flavor. True South Texas style BBQ. Seating is limited, so either arrive early, after the lunch rush, or plan to carry out. Also, bring cash, as credit cards are not accepted.

I walk in as a first time customer, picking up a brisket plate for my mom, when I hand my credit card to the man behind the counter he says no cash only. So I say you have no sign that says cash only . So I ask him we how much is the plate so I can get cash. It’s $13 dollars as I walk away he says your change and tossed the coins on the counter. How F..king rude was he .

The food was all good. Been there many times. But I quit going after….he went in the back to get some more potato salad. A cockroach crawling over the doorway caught my eye.i watched as it meandered around barely clinging to the wooden wall. I wasn’t going to say anything about it. So I was hoping it didn’t fall into the food as he walked under the bug, or I would have to cancel. Fortunately the bug didn’t fall and I got my order and left. Just now I’ll always think about that bug so it ruins my appetite. Too bad he’s a nice guy, but someone needs to exterminate occasionally.

Fajita & sausage, 2 meat plate with 2 sides is my favorite. They have Ribs, chicken, beans, rice, potato salad, you can’t go wrong nor will you regret picking up a meal to take home.
