Just stopped by for 4lbs cooked crawfish. SO VERY DISAPPOINTED! I have been several times thru out the years and it’s been great. Today 5-29-2022 530pm …they were so bad! They tasted Old and dirty, with a lot of them already dead before cooking (Straight tails). They also seemed like lower grade crawfish, with weeds included. So sad!! At 7.00 lb I expect good crawfish, clean and fresh. This is the first time I didn’t ask for a sample. I should have known when I saw the guy smoking a cigarette while cooking, I should of just left.

This is the best hidden gem near Memphis. The food is great and the ambient just your best “southern” hospitality. Make the short drive from the city and you will find a true “locals” crawfish excellently well prepared. I landed into this place when driving on route for days-vacation & exploring from CA to Atlanta GA and needed gas. Google’s map sent me off the way to Interstate 55 and to exit for route US-51 towards Hernando. Little I knew I would spent over 3hrs!! there enjoying the friendly company, the music and the food. It is a do not miss it if you are near Memphis.

Very disappointed and prolly will not go back I’ve been going since they opened and they have been great but the last two years have been bad and today was it.. what I got today should not ever be sold to paying customers got 4 lbs and couldn’t even eat 5 out of it because they was so soft and mushie you couldn’t get the meat out of the shell most of em are smashed and straight tailed and some have a rotten smell

I moved to Mississippi 1.5 years ago and probably ate at 15 different crawfish trucks/events and I have to say, Billy’s Crawfish is at the top of the list. His sausage is amazing , the right heat and the perfect cook time. I’m ready for the season to start !! Billy please cater my next party!!

To be in Mississippi/Tennessee this was an actually really good crawfish spot. The crawfish boil could of been hotter but it was really good just not soaked into the crawfish .They do not cook The sides in the boil and no onions etc in the boil. The sausage was different from Louisiana and so was there Boudin I wasn’t quite fond of the Boudin it was a little weird texture and tasting kinda weird and not like our Boudin back home. The sausage was different as well but surprisingly it was very good. When you cook the sides in the boil cabbage, onion, lemon, sausage, corn potatoes, even boiled eggs you just get that flavor of the boil, From a Louisiana women I would recommend this place. I would of gave 5 stars if the boudin was better, they stay busy so you might have to wait.
