I have been a fan of this place of this place since I was a kid and have brought so many friends here over the years. My more recent trips have had a few years between them, but the food is amazing EVERY time. The roast beef really is amazing, especially with “sauce” (I don’t accept any other toppings!). There’s sauce in EVER bite. I’ve had roast beef at places closer to me over the years and they just leave me wanting Billy’s! The French fries are my absolute favorite too! Staff is always friendly and the customers that sit inside are always a cast of characters.

I am not from the local area, but I was in search of a classic roast beef sandwich. (I grew up in Beverly with Nick’s Roast Beef. Need I say more?) This place delivered big time. Very tasty. I had a junior beef with sauce and onion rings. Both were incredible. And the staff was very friendly, too! Grade: A++. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Ordered two roast beef with cheese and fried clams. Both roast beef sandwiches didn’t have cheese and the fried clams were tiny. People need to listen to what you order!!!! Should have been advised that clams were tiny! It’s the middle of summer and they should be at there best. If you don’t want to pay for the best but still charge for the best, you’re off my places to go for good food!!!

Hasn’t changed a bit since i was 10 years old riding my bike there with my family as a kid. Foods just as good now as it was then. The same faces behind the counter is nice to see. I stop here anytime I’m in the area for work. Keep doing what you’re doing.
