Oh no! What a shame. I really wanted to like this place. We thought it could be a contender to be added to our breakfast rotation list. There was a slight problem though. The bacon! I’ve never ate such thin bacon before and that for me ruined the experience. It was like eating nothing and that is a bit of an issue for me!

We took our family here for a lovely brunch(1 pm) on a Sunday and were surprised at how many tables were open. We were thankful, but you can tell the staff was ready to be done for the day after what I assume was a bustling morning crowd. I’ve come to Billy’s before, so I know that wasn’t their typical demeanor. I was able to brush aside a few of the mistakes they were making(forgetting kids’ waters, refilling waters, getting the boxes for us). We were still enjoying our lunch, and our waitress gave us the check. I was surprised but again not offended since, with little kids, we prefer to get in and get out. I can see how someone would’ve taken offense, though, and hope that isn’t consistent throughout the restaurant. My kids devoured the meal, and my breakfast burrito a treat to enjoy. We’ll be back again to what I believe will be a more consistent Billy’s.

My husband and I went to Billy’s this morning. The food was good. I ordered eggs Florentine. It’s a dish served like eggs benedict though sauted spinach is replaced for Canadian bacon. This dish is served with hollandaise sauce. There was very little sauce so i asked for more. After about 5 minutes I was given a small ramekin with a capacity of about 1 ounce. I used about ½ of what was given. It wasn’t till we were leaving that I realized that I was charged $2.00 for the sauce. I was a little disappointed since I wasn’t told that there would be an additional charge though decided not to make an issue of it. It was then that my husband told me that a few years back he was charged for extra butter for his toast.

First time trying out this restaurant. The food was fantastic! Having pork chops I was glad that they had applesauce. The soup is homemade daily every morning, the cream of chicken rice was hot and very good. Salvina was an amazing waitress taking care of all the tables on a late Sunday afternoon a couple hours before closing. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again!
