Great bar, with very good food and even a late night menu that’s great. The staff are great and friendly, really a wonderful spot in the Northwoods. They have live music on Sundays I believe and right on the lake. You’re missing out if you don’t stop by the Birchwood.

Grew up spending summer vacations down the road from Birchwood. Have lived in NC for many yrs, so don’t get back much. Just rented a cabin at Birchwood for a group snowmobile trip and could not be happier. Food and drinks are excellent and prices good. Our cabin was clean and everything we needed. So grateful that our favorite place 50 yrs ago, still going strong. Larry Worth would be proud. Thank you.
