Birdie’s is gem neighborhood restaurant. It has a charming European vibe. Meaning you are not rushed to order, not rushed to eat to everything all at once. They pace your dishes perfectly so that you can enjoy the food, your wine and your company.

Incredible. One of the best meals we’ve had in Austin, or anywhere.

Birdies has gotten some good press so we finally trekked across town and enjoyed a nice dinner there.

I enjoyed this spot. The cold corn soup and the ice cream with blood orange olive oil were the highlights. The steak was way too rare for my taste, and the fish was good but not a standout. When I come back it will be for some champagne and ice cream. I’ll skip the mains next time.

Wow! No other way to start this review. EVERYTHING we ordered was incredible and delicious. The ordering style was unique and I didn’t hate it. Wife and I had to commit to what we were going to eat prior to sitting.

Birdie’s is incredible! It is such a unique experience from the moment you arrive. Usually there is a line but you can imbibe while you wait. The food is beyond compare. I’ve tried so many dishes but still haven’t tried them all. The wine list is thoughtfully curated and impressive to boot. Staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. Go check it out immediately

Don’t go only when you’re hungry. You should go an hour before you’re hungry because it’s going to take a while to get in (at least on a Saturday night). No complaints tho! I had a lot of fun catching up with my friend and they also served us drinks while we were in line. My friend and I got the beef tartare, deviled eggs, shrimp entree, the steak entree, and the soft serve for dessert!
