Easily one of the best Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches I’ve had in Middle TN. Parking is pretty scarce on the weekend during the afternoon due to the lot being shared with the golfers, so I’d recommend either evening or weekday if you’re going just for food.

Birdsong Social was a pretty fun hang. The atmosphere is nice, but my ownly downside is that since it’s pretty much a big box and it’s tall without any sound proofing it’s very loud. I’m sensitive to loud restaurants. We have two kids and so it’s loud most of the time. When my wife and I go out to eat I want to be able to talk at a normal conversation level and not struggle to hear. We ended up sitting at the bar due to wait, but it’s full service. Our bar tender was great! Food was great. I would love to come back when it’s not so hot and sit outside.

Food was great, menu was kinda limited. But the bison burger, fish and chips and the spinach artichock dip and pita bread hit the mark! Emma our server was fabulous great service, super friendly and caring. After our round of golf this was excellent sitting out on that patio looking over the course and catching some rays enjoying the beautiful day for lunch. Looking forward to coming back 😉

A big shout out to Bryan at Birdsong Social. We had a retirement celebration of 22 people after golf yesterday and I cannot express enough about how smooth it went. I credit it all to Bryan. Not only did he keep great communication with me before the celebration but he kept in contact with me while I was on the course to make sure all was being laid out as I had planned. We had a great time and the food was delicious as always. Thank you again Bryan and Birdsong Social.

I am disappointed to have to give a poor review as I was kind of excited to visit this restaurant because I had seen quite a few comments about it on social media. Set on a golf course it has the potential to thrive on that aspect alone as it has a captured audience. However, on a packed Saturday night the concrete floor, high ceilings and bare walls make for a frightening loud atmosphere. The plaid fabric chairs are a unique characteristic but they can’t make up for the fact it sounds like you are at a high school basketball game sans the squeak of shoes and a pounding ball. A bartender that knows their way around a classic cocktail is a huge bonus and probably keeps this place afloat. The drinks were fabulous and definitely made the 45 minute wait for the food much easier. The biggest disappointment was actually the food. When trying a new restaurant my husband and I usually order different items but we were both lured into the same dish and ordered the hibachi grilled veggies with chicken over rice ($18). We concurred that it was very bland and could have created the same dish using one of those family size frozen dinners in a bag from the grocery store. The egg rolls that were supposed to be a starter to tide us over during the wait for the main course arrived at the same time. They were much better than the veggie dish but not anything that would drive me to encourage anyone to bust the door down for. The staff was very friendly, informative to the wait and apologetic. It wasn’t a terribly awful experience but definitely a one and done for us.

I went to BSS last night with some friends. We all loved our food and plan on coming back. I had the hot chicken sandwich, WOW that chicken was so good! I also had the banana pudding dessert and that was amazing as well. Im glad this is so close to home and away frim all the chaos on main st. The service was awesome, our server was super sweet and patient with a bunch of moms who couldn’t make up their minds on what they wanted to eat. Lol. Great job BSS management and Chef!
