Let’s start with the obvious…it’s in a gas station, so don’t expect ambience. The food…oh boy. Been here many times and all I can say is they may have the best street tacos this old guy has ever had. Everything else is great too. You can’t go wrong with picking up something from them, grabbing a nice IPA, and sitting in your yard enjoying the evening. The food is enough to keep coming back, but the service is excellent too. Great people.

Really good, in fact, the best tacos I’ve ever had. Ordered last night after a client suggested this place. Got street tacos. We loved them and came back 20 min(near Lodi) to get more today. Friendly staff! Ask for their recommendations.

We just discovered a hidden gem. Birria Boys in Elk Grove Califoria, A very tasty & Flavorful Mexican food, the best tacos & surf and turf birria fries & it is located inside Shell station. But truly one of the best tacos we have ever eaten. The owner Chris was so personable and accommodating. Could not be happier with a meal. Everyone is missing out if they don’t try this fantastic food along with having a chance to meet a very genuine kind person Chris & his awesome & very pleasant staff. Excellent service! I highly recommend this place. 2 thumbs up!

Tried this place first time— yummy tacos! Good service from what looked like the owner as the cashier English wasn’t so good and she was trying to manage phone and online orders and the in person orders—wow! Queso tacos and consomme were amazing, if you eat the food there. Staff are not great when you door dash because they will give your food to the wrong dasher. Multiple occasions of this happening lead me to believe they have empty minded staff running the counter. C’mon people, this isn’t rocket science!

I went here with my friend Raendy after a midday Jiu Jitsu session in town. The owner was very welcoming and also found out he trains locally as well. I asked what he suggested as everything on the menu looked really good. Since it was Taco Tuesday, he recommend the birria tacos. This was the first time I’ve ever tried this. It was very tasty and felt very “fusion”. Again, I’ve never had this type of food where you dip a taco in broth.It reminded me of Pho or a Filipino broth dish that has oxtail from my childhood. The ingredients tasted very fresh and filling.
