The cook her is from Bangladesh and such a sweet man he was very courteous and explained the option on the menu well. His specialty is buradi roll and he did not disappoint us. The roll was soft and crunchy with juicy delicious pan roasted chicken with spices and veggies. It was scrumptious for sure. Price was reasonable and good size of portions too.

I have tried their Chicken Biryani. It had the Basmati rice with grilled chicken, salad and few sauces. Taste was okay but it’s definitely not the authentic Biryani.

I tried this place based on a youtube blogger review; less than a five minutes walking distance from times square; being a vegetarian, I tried vegetarian biryani; the quality of the rice was good, but it wasn’t biryani; it was like a vegetable pulao; with little vegetables, and one piece of falafel; it’s not bad to try especially by times square. One suggestion to an owner is to serve a bit of plain curry with the rice taste would come out better. Otherwise, rice offers a dry taste. If you’re looking for cheap Indian food around times square, this is the place to go.

Excellent food, not so oily, best indian food in New York with very reasonable prices, quick delivery. I will again buy the tasty indian food from this Biryani Cart. The kati rolls tasted very delicious as well as the Biryanis.

We first went here over 10 yrs ago when we visited NYC. My friend highly recommended their Kati rolls :). We loved it so much we included it in our photo memory book for this epic trip. Now 2022, I’m back and happened to stumble on it late one nite! I couldn’t believe it was the same cart and asked the cook who confirmed they’ve been here for 17 yrs! I got the lamb kati roll (again) extra spicy and it was just as mind blowing this time around! Thankful that they’ve made it thru the pandemic and hope they continue to thrive for a long time!

How can you say you’ve won an award when your chicken was over cooked and hard to chew, no other taste other than “spicy”. Where was the advertised herb taste??? Kwik Meal halal cart is way better

Asks me if I’m a tourist and proceeds to overcharge me by $8. Upon questioning makes me prove showing credit card statements that takes a further 2 minutes.

We got bad rice. Smells spoiled rice. We got three different and one of them was good. Again we went around 1 AM. I will give one more try at peak time. Let me see.

They don’t have anything like Biryani. They serve spicy pulao. Owner should improve the taste and probably quality too.

Awful experience. Service was terrible, was basically ignored. Food made me want to throw up, and almost destroyed my teeth on what seemed to be a peach core??? But yeah, took a risk this one and definitely never again
