Gorgeously designed restaurant in a hip part of downtown Memphis. The deco lighting really sets the vibe in this chic eatery with an eclectic menu. We had the escargot, strip steak and flounder. All were expertly prepared and tasted wonderful. The music was at the perfect level for conversation but still enhanced the atmosphere. Our server, Emily, was awesome. She was very helpful with the menu and super attentive. A definite stop when in Grind City.

We visited on the 17 April at around 8PM. The ambience and service was excellent. The server was attentive and friendly. Kudos to him! The food is great but could be improved! 5 star to that asparagus dish! Will be back to try brunch menus. The drinks were great too!

My SIL and I dined here for a girls night out and it did not disappoint!!! The atmosphere was lovely, the service was FANTASTIC. Reva was our waitress and she was fun and knowledgeable! And, the food. Exquisite. We took Reva’s advice and got a couple of small plates and two entrees. We will be back!!

We went to this restaurant for dinner twice in a row. We had Emily as our waitress – her service was outstanding. The Pear A Day cocktail is easily my favorite cocktail in Memphis. The burger is outstanding, as is the crispy Brie. The restaurant is a dark and moody vibe and the bartenders are great at Freeform cocktails. Highly recommend!!

Great setup and location, interesting and comfortable date spot. Not sure why the charcuterie doesn’t come with bread or otherwise, but the fromage was great. The coulette was recommended medium rare but medium might have been a little better on the texture side. Always love love love the tinned fish which keeps me coming back. The experience, including service, is good all around but there’s stiff competition in Memphis! Do recommend.

Bishop is located in the Central Train Station in Memphis. We enjoyed Happy Hour and a light dinner. The drinks were exceptionally made by Sarah. Escargot at the bar was phenomenal. Chris, our server, was very knowledgeable and gracious. The atmosphere, decor, and ambience is outstanding. Well worth a visit, even though it is a tad pricey.
