I called specifically to ask about a sandwich I wanted to order to make sure of the bread(crostini roll) used, the Boars Head meats with fresh mozzarella and was told that’s what’s on the sandwich. This was a pickup order and when I got home to eat the sandwich it was very small, soggy bread (not crostini) and I don’t believe it was Boar’s Head cold cuts and there was no “fresh mozzarella” even though I called to verify. As you can guess I was extremely upset that I paid $13 for a $7 sandwich and the pasta salad was way overcooked and soggy. When I called to speak with the manager or owner I was brushed off after being on hold for a while. Never again! Trust me don’t waste your money. I can’t believe that some of these restaurants are even in business, what has the food industry come to?

This place is amazing. We just went with the first two sandwiches on the menu (Kickin Chicken & University) and they were fantastic. I am a sandwich lover, and these both now sit high on my top 10 list.

The food and staff were amazing. We had the university and Chicken salad sandwiches with salads as our side. The atmosphere was super cute. The staff were friendly. I would highly recommend checking out this lunch spot!

Bistro 1605 is a result of Alexandria’s Hamilton Street Bistro moving into the former Cork and Grind location. While I never got to try the old restaurant, I was curious about the new. I stopped by a little before noon on a Friday to find the establishment very busy, a testament to Alexandria’s loyal following. As much as I wanted to like this place, however, it just didn’t strike me as anything special.

I am a cancer patient and my meals require me to pick and choose what I can eat. They were very sensitive to that and let me build my own salad. It was amazingly fresh and they made sure I had what I needed. So happy to find a small business that still keeps the customers in mind. They have my business from this point forward. Thank you for caring!!

While I had not visited the previous location, I wanted to try the new location today. The wait was a bit longer than expected, but well worth it. The Sweet Mary Wrap with a house salad was my pick, and it was delicious. Also had a generous slice of the Pineapple Coconut Cake. Oh, my. Just fabulous. Wish I had thought to snap a photo to share. Our waitress was just lovely, and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed lunch here, and will definitely be back!

I had lunch with family members. Ordered the Rynn Reuben sandwich. Absolutely the best and I’m from the New York/New Jersey area!!!!!! Highly recommend the restaurant. Friendly greeting from Alexandria herself; wonderful service from Rhonda. You must check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
