Ten of us were at the 1828 restaurant on 7/17/23 for a coworkers retirement lunch. We were on the 3rd floor inside Ski Club portion of the restaurant. We ordered several appetizers, the grilled salmon was fantastic, I had the blackened chicken over the salad, others had the lobster rolls and fish and chips. All the food was great, the service friendly and attentive and the atmosphere fantastic. Our group was from all over New England and one from Delaware and today a day later the other nine all called to thank me for choosing such a super place. Highly recommend it!!

My spouse and I randomly stopped by here after exploring the area on Christmas Eve around midday. We decided to take a chance and see if they were still open for brunch, and indeed they were. We did not anticipate it being one of the best brunch experiences we’ve had yet! The food was delicious, the drinks marvelous, and the service couldn’t be friendlier or more welcoming. We didn’t have a reservation, but the bar was perfect for the two of us. Thanks for providing us a wonderful memory from our mini vacation!

Great service, loved our bartender Max, was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Ordered the Gruner white wine to pair with the oysters on the half shell.

This was our first time dining at Pepperell Cove and we were blown away by it all. We dined on the 3rd floor at the Ski Club. The food, the service, the location/views… all stellar. We both thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and high quality of our order. The muscles & lobster salad are reason enough to go back, not to mention the incredible crafted cocktails. Don’t skip the opportunity to go if you get it— you won’t regret it!

To start, I would definitely recommend trying this place. A couple things were just slightly off for us, but we will be back. They have a lot to offer. Ocean views, multi-level building with several themes tying back to this locations historical beginnings (outside and inside options). We ate on the third floor “Ski Lodge”. They had a great cozy bar with very cool drink menu. Bar service was professional and attentive. We had the cheese plate, very fun accoutrements. We are every last bite. Oysters were fresh but could have been colder/chilled more. Mushroom ravioli with tarragon cream had great flavor. Pasta was a little dense. Haddock with crab and lobster sauce. Great porting and haddock was could perfectly. Crab, mashed potatoes, Swiss chard were all flavorful and complimentary to the dish. Lobster sauce was bland & a let down, but overall still a good dish. I know that this place is a great spot in the summer, with lighter fare offered waterside with fried seafood, lobster rolls, etc… Great to see they’ve renovated this spot. The location is incredible. Will keep trying and going back. The have many options and change up the menu.

At Frisbee Wharf there are three restaurants catering for you different whims! The Bistro is at the top floor and it has some killer views. It is located off the typical beaten path along the old coast road and away from the noise and traffic of downtown Kittery!

Made a reservation. Showed up, only to be told the kitchen is closed and to go upstairs. Went upstairs, only to be told they’re not serving food and to go to “the Wharf.” Asked about the menu at “the Wharf,” which is completely different and not compatible with what we were seeking. Spent $30 and an hour on 2 Lyfts to be disappointed. Can’t speak to the food but the lack of communication is disappointing, to say the least. I’m sure this is a decent place and can’t think of too many more disappointing first impressions.

I have no pictures to share because I was transported to simply living in the moment when dining here. The ambiance and environment is welcoming and friendly. The space is clean down to the details. Great cocktails and drink selection, with amazing eats as the hero of the night.

Our family had a rooftop luncheon following an ash scattering boat charter with Captain Jack. The view, food and service were excellent. They were very responsive in setting up the reservation for our large party. They provide a true boutique experience. The entire group at The Ski Club were top notch!! Thank you to Greg, Matt, Daly and Chris.
