Server was courteous and quick. Food was plated very well and was flavorful. However, the steak was overcooked.

The food was good, but it was the service by Jasmine that was excellent!

Food was excellent! The steak was cooked perfectly. Worth the price. A little slow on service but we weren’t in a hurry.

Surprisingly delicious and affordable restaurant in the Hilton Garden Inn in the Sorrento Valley.

A bit a stretch to call it a Bistro. First off, the restaurant is merely an extension of the hotel lobby as in it feels like you are eating in a hotel lobby. I went on a week night, so the food is likely different on the weekends if that makes any sense. The food choices are not good. The chicken sandwich is the exact same chicken sandwich from the other restaurant attached to the hotel (NY deli), but more expensive. I opted for the NY-style pizza. It was not NY-style, and frankly not very good either. The crust was burnt and the ingredients were quite bland. I’d like to try their full menu, but it wasn’t offered.

Went to dinner on a whim . Had delicious tacos with the perfect spice. Loved the carnitas tacos and very reasonable. May try to get there for a nice dinner. I’m sure the locals know this place in town.

Cozy heated terrace was exactly what I was looking for! Very surprised by the quality of food. Came here with my husband for a Saturday night dinner and was able to get a nice table. All tables are socially distanced and I felt very comfortable. I will definitely be back to try the halibut next time 🙂

Just ordered the Halibut dish and it was amazing. I could have had a free cheesesteak sandwich with the hotel I’m staying at, but this ended up being a wonderful treat. Can’t wait to come back. Oh yeah, they have a Full Bar and fresh beer on tap!

Rating and experience based on happy hour appetizers-as-dinner. Calamari was good, and plentiful, supposedly a half order but plenty for two. Street tacos (carnitas) very good. Buffalo wings very good. Billed as 4 wings, received 8. Quite a bargain, not especially healthy though. Service friendly and attentive. Would return.
