Stopped in to cool off from the hot weather and ordered a Negroni. While the presentation was beautiful, it tasted a little light on the campari and quite watered down but was refreshing nonetheless. Love the atmosphere and ambience.

Nice little bistro at the very end of Restaurant Row in the Theater District. Good for a quick bite or a few cocktails sitting at the bar and people watching the crowds pass along 8th Avenue.

Terrible service for soup and salad. I had to ask 2 times for a spoon to eat my soup. We asked for more water and while there were four of us, she filled one glass and walked away. The best part was they auto add an 18% tip. Three other people walked out. Extortion for bad service.

Awesome meal! Had the mussels, crab cakes, & escargot for apps. All were delicious. For dinner we had the short ribs burger which was amazing, steak & fries which was good, & seafood linguini which had a strong shellfish flavor which was off-putting. The fries were absolutely delicious. Desert was creme brulee & volcano cake which was not runny inside which was disappointing. Our server Fadila was amazing – very knowledgeable, friendly, & attentive. The prices were lower than other places nearby. All-in-all, it was a great experience! 4 stars for the concerns mentioned above.

The two photos you see are the only two meals we purchased for dinner. After an automatic tip was added to our bill, this meal cost roughly $61. The food was unfortunately not $60+ worthy. The lamb burger was not terrible, but the grocery store sells microwaved mac n cheese that tastes better that what was given. This was unfortunate because the place looks very nice and the staff was friendly. We had higher hopes for this place but the food quality was disappointing.

Three stars because the service and the main courses were good. The lettuce in the salad was brown and the worst cocktails I’ve ever had. I ordered a Manhattan and got what looked like a Shirley temple. When I go back to nyc I won’t be going here.

The waitstaff was very kind, but not very attentive. We waited a long time to order. I was never offered a refill for my hot tea, although my niece was offered additional hot water. I still don’t understand why people drinking coffee get a free refill and people drinking tea do not. My biggest concern was that I ordered a spinach and cheese omelette, and what I got was an arugula and cheese omelette with no explanation that they were out of spinach. Fortunately, I like arugula, but many people do not care for it, and I should not have been served something that was not on the menu. It is a rather limited menu, but the food was good. The breakfast potatoes were the best part of the meal – delicious! The atmosphere was lovely and it is very conveniently located to theaters.

Maybe they were having an off day, All I know is that I will not be going back. The restaurant was not crowded but the hostess decided to throw us in a corner where the other customers and waitress could not see us. The restaurant was not crowded but yet we receive very slow service. We eventually got up from our table ask for the bill and walked over to the bartender to pay it. I should have not paid for the mess I received.
