Bistro Avon Inc As of October 1st 2019, 300 Main Street in Avon by the Sea got a brand new name and ownership. Bobby Johnson and Michael Rathsmith, longtime owners of Clementine’s Restaurant at 306 Main Street Avon by the Sea, are now the masterminds behind this restaurant.
This new business venture carefully thought through by the Clementine’s team, is merging ideas, style and taste, in a new space that will house a powerful newly formed team. Bedrock Bistro by Clementine’s encompasses years of experience in the food and hospitality industry, with hands-on knowledge from both the former Bedrock Bistro’s staff and the Clementine’s team.
The menu will bring a new fresh approach to a well loved cuisine.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for ages… we had my son’s baptism at Bedrock in May on a Sunday. They’re typically not open on Sundays off peak, which this was, but Bobby was extremely accommodating. He created a delicious menu for the event with so many options and everything was phenomenal and this place was a MAJOR hit with all my guests. It was beautifully decorated and the service was incredible. I could not say enough about Ang who was absolutely out of this world helpful and nice. Always going above and beyond! I was torn between this place and another for the event but the customer service, food, and atmosphere won me over. It was pricier but you get what you paid for; this was well worth the additional cost and, to be completely frank, I still think it was a steal for what we got! They’ve gained customers for a lifetime out of us. Love this place and everyone here! Thank you!!!

Very nice restaurant. Lots of great meal deals. Super huge portions. Delicious foods and desserts. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. No alcohol served but you can BYOB. A great place to eat.

Such a cute place. Menus and specials are varied and extensive. Waitstaff is wonderful! Exceptional, pleasant and personal. Very attentive to GF restrictions. Kudos to the chef also for volunteering to adapt a dish to my needs. Food was delicious and the portions were generous. Definitely coming back!

Trying a new breakfast spot, food is very good! Nice layout to the restaurant as well! We try different places all through monmouth, Ocean, bergen and Essex County and as you guess we see a lot of places. This is definitely recommended as it’s now on our list and will be back!

Good! My mom and I ordered the Aloha Salad which was very good. However mandarin oranges in it were tainted. Was rectified by bringing out fresh ones, but no one even bothered to say we’re sorry. Poor form in my opinion.

A big big shout out to the mighty Judy! She epitomizes working a room. One waitress for an entire restaurant. She was fabulous as was the delicate and tender fried calamari. Also, they accommodated my mom’s dietary needs! Awesome place!

This is my go to place when I am down by Avon. I have never been disappointed in the quality of the food. They change their menu so I never know what new items they will have which is great. The staff is friendly and during covid take out has been wonderful. So recently had their Irish Eyes Wrap. It was fresh, plentiful and great flavors. Can’t wait to return! Support local!

I ordered the blackened catfish. It was delicious, served with perfectly steamed asparagus and a flavorful chipotle aioli. It was served iver vegetable risotto which was a nice compliment to the spice. Service was friendly. It’s BYOB.
