Visited here just as Happy Hour (4pm to 6m) started. The restaurant updates both the Happy Hour and the menu seasonally. The calamari was very good. Love that they are on cut into strips. Both the hostess and Mark were super wonderful and most helpful. I didn’t check out the rooftop patio, but I will be sure to do that next time

Our party of two strolled in for brunch after staying the night at the Majestic Inn to a mostly empty but posh space. Having visited a few years back, the fresh face lift in this space was well done. Open, bright, and updated gives swanky vibes without losing casual comfortability. Sports played on the TVs behind the bar. Various staff members were bustling around, presumably with room service orders, maintenance, and transitioning from morning shifts. Despite their busy-ness each acknowledged us with a friendly greeting and smiles.

Excellent little hidden gem of a rooftop bar here, you just need to know to take the elevator (ask at the Majestic inn). There’s just one star off because the oysters were excellent but they accompanied them with a cheap shrimp cocktail sauce.

Stopped there for breakfast on our way to whale watching. The salad (majestic hash) with peppers and asparagus was great! We had to wait some time to place an order though. Don’t go there if you’re in a rush. Otherwise a great place!

The food was okay but not worth the price. The happy hour deals were also disappointing. For example, one happy hour item was a single crab cake for $8. The regular menu showed that you could order two crab cakes for $15. The molten lava cake was very small (about half the portion it usually is at other places) and $10.

Not bad for a limited menu. All the tables are at least 6 feet apart, making it feel a bit on the empty side. But the food wasn’t bad although the cod bites seem like fish nuggets.

This place has really great atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The food is also very good and the staff very friendly. They also make the room service food for the Majestic Inn and Spa (the best hotel in town), as well as their rooftop bar. If you’re dropping in to Anacortes for the day or staying overnight, make sure to stop in at 5th Street Bistro
