The most of their food I have tried was great. I like this restaurant better than most of asian restaurants in Arlington Heights area. Portion is big. Flavorful. But the last time the waitress was strange. She was overly strict to our little kid and then she didn’t seem like she was acknowledging what we just ordered while the restaurant had no other customers. She was confused what what meat option we ordered for dish and then also she gave me a different dish but she confidently said that’s what I ordered when I asked if it was right dish. Come on.. She could have just ask if it was a wrong dish instead of being rude.

Confused and disappointed. Among other dishes, I ordered takeout for two servings of chow mein. We opened the box and it was like a brick of ramen noodles. Hard, crunchy, and inedible without boiling noodles in water for a few minutes. It also came with a bowl of vegetables which seemed fine. Would not recommend.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! Definitely try the spicy string beans. It feels like a real Chinese diner. The service was great and the waiters were very polite. The atmosphere was nice and calm. Music was very nice. The wait is a little while though. The food takes quite a while to prepare. Have been coming here for many years and will be coming for many more. Is a must try and definitely recommend if you are ever in downtown Arlington Heights.

Bistro Chen has the best Spicy Seafood Noodles. The menu just has it as Spicy Seafood Noodles but it is literally 짬뽕 or Jjam Bbong. They garnish with cilantro so keep that in mind…I loved the extra flavor but some of you may not. The seafood was soooooo fresh and the soup was incredible!!!

First time at this place. It was close to where we worked, so we decided to try their lunch/dinner. We’ve ordered a few different dishes to share. The portion of the dishes was ok. Their taste was a little bit above average, not bad at all. The service was good. The prices were also a little bit above average. Overall, I think it is worth trying because everybody has different tastes and different opinions.

Phenomenal sushi, appetizers, and side dishes. Especially enjoyed the fried rice, potstickers, mermaid, and volcano rolls. Only cons: no mango pudding and crab rangoons were pretty empty. Other than that it was amazing! I just moved into Downtown Arlington Heights and this place will be a staple for years to come!

Bistro Chen is my new favorite sushi place! $25 for all you can eat, $40 for all you can eat + drink. The food was delicious, absolutely loved the Geisha roll, the Mermaid, and the Volcano roll. The service was top notch and the ambiance very relaxing. Can’t wait to go back. My only complaint would be that the miso soup was too salty, but it’s a minor detail I’m willing to look over because the rest of the meal was phenomenal!

If you’re reading this review right now because you don’t know if you should go or not, I would say GO NOW! They have all you can eat Chinese and Sushi for only $18 at the lunch time! But the great thing about it is that you will still have a lot of selections on sushi! They are awesome btw. It tasted so fresh and good. Thinking about it makes me wanna go right now again. We ate so much and enjoyed it a lot. Very nice place, I like the style of how they made it. Very friendly waitress too. Will definitely be back for more sushi!

The food is amazing. I love going for Dim Sum on the weekends. The sushi is so fresh it tastes like it was just caught. The decor is clean, crisp and beautiful. Kei is the best server. She is knowledgeable about the food and drinks, she is very attentive and always has a smile.
