I had been craving some Haitian food, so I asked one of my Haitian friends for a recommendation. He recommended Creole Bistro. I was looking forward to some good food. I decided to go on a Friday afternoon when I got off work. I walked in, and the place was not too busy. I placed my order with a gentleman behind the counter. I ordered a Griot dinner and a Fried Chicken dinner. It took about 15 minutes for the food to come from the kitchen. I sat at one of the tables in the lobby to enjoy my meal. When I opened the to-go container, what did I see, feathers still on the chicken. I lost my entire appetite. In my opinion, the time was not taken to clean the chicken properly. The food ended up going to the garbage, and needless to say, I will not be going back. This establishment needs to work on its customer service as well.

I’m so upset that I want to cry. I don’t even want eat the food anymore poul pa kole l’an goj mwen! So I decided not to cook and used Uber eats instead. Tasty choice( my preference) was closed so I said let me try Bistro Creole. Look how much rice they gave with a tiny bit of sauce pois! I used the spoon to give a better idea. Now, I’m still gonna have to make sauce pois. I called several times, no answer!!!!!!!!!! Smdh I should have just ordered Bonefish Grill and call it a day. They wonder why people do not want to support Haitian businesses sometimes. Tres vexant!

I rate them 2.5 stars because I like the platter snapper. For$36 it’s not to bad feeds 3 adults, maybe 4 depending on how you dish. The rice was ok the fish had salt not fishy always a plus, however no real flavor or anything spectacular to make me come back. The size is fairly big for the price. They barely gave macaroni and dry dryI’m real not going to complain because it was not good. Not terrible, but I would not buy it as a side dish if it did not come with the platter. The plantains dry dry dry not crispy just dry please do better, maybe it was an off day unsure; I do know I came from out of town and this place was recommended and they disappointed.

I had a craving for some Diri Djon Djon! When I opened that plate I was instantly disappointed because the color was off (rice was practically white)! But of course we’re already here let’s just go in. And OMG that gravy y’all made, made up for sure! Griot perfect. Mac was ok. Nice portion size. Definitely going to try again.

I don’t know whoever auntie or uncle made my plate but it was amazing. The amount of food they gave me was overly abundant. One plate of griot could feed 2 people. I was expecting it to be small based off of the pictures I saw on line but it wasn’t! 5 stars!
