First timers. We were greeted right away. Staff was friendly and helpful in choosing what we wanted to eat. The ratatouille and gazpacho soups were really good. The Cesar salad was also good. We split the walleye – done perfectly. Nothing was overly seasoned or spicy. We thought the price point was very good for the service and food. Will go back.

This was our 4th visit and my brother’s and sister’s first. The food was wonderful! The perch was piled high over asparagus and potato wedges, with a great sauce. Waitstaff was attentive and prices were reasonable. Reservations for this very small restaurant are a must. Only drawback was the noise volume.

I was brought here for my birthday dinner, and it was one of the top 5 meals of my entire life. I had the walleye, and others at the table had the duck and the steak. The scallop appetizer was perfect. The escargot was amazing. So many wonderful complex flavors! What a hidden gem!

Great service and food. Waitress was very friendly and the apps were delicious. The menu changes seasonally so keep an eye out. The inside was surprisingly cute compared to the outside. Would highly recommend the Camembert!

We celebrated my grandfather’s 90th birthday here. The food and service are outstanding! I loved the duck entree for the main course. The portions are generous. Everything we ordered tasted delicious. Highly recommend.

Wow!! What an unexpected gem!! My family has driven by this intersection for years and never stopped in but boy are we glad we finally did!! We had the smelt and calamari for an appetizer which were both crispy and delicious and both sauces were awesome — especially the one with the smelt. We then shared the shrimp and couscous salad — shrimp were cooked perfectly. Finally, we shared the walleye, scallops San Jaques, the canard, steak frites, and the lamb chops (there were six of us and we brought food home!). Each meal was the favorite of one of us. The only underwhelming plate was the roasted cauliflower but everything else more than made up for that. And, finally, my 8 year old (whose favorite was the steak frites) wanted me to share how much he also loved the fresh baked rolls.

Without a doubt the best restaurant in West Bloomfield. We were here for my father’s birthday. The owner, Yakov, is an incredibly caring person, even preparing a special dessert for my mother who is gluten free. From the calamari, to the escargot, Caesar salad, steak, and dessert. It was all delicious. Phenomenal meal. You have to try it, the food is delicious!
