First time here 5/19, came in and got seated immediately on a Friday night! Sat down, had water and bread (amazing bread) brought to the table fast. Looked at the menu and wanted pretty much everything. Emma, our server came to the table and was super nice, helpful and gave us some recommendations. One being the chicken marsala, I went with it and typically I would never since I hate mushrooms. Well this entree was top notch. It was actually perfect. My partner got the eggplant lasagna and he thought it was amazing. We are foodies and visit several Italian places everywhere and so far, this is the spot. From Little Italy to far out, this is one of the best! It’s always helpful coming to a new place and having a server like Emma who is not only nice but personable and attentive. We will 100% be back since we live 1.5 miles from the restaurant. If you’re thinking of coming here, get in your car and get here.

Everything was wonderful from start to finish. We had stuffed peppers, calamari, garlic bread, fried mozzarella and mussels for appetizers. For the soup and entree, French onion soup (amazing) and allouette chicken. I’ll be rolling home tonight!

The drinks were fantastic the calamari over cooked, so they took of the bill. The chicken special with angel hair pasta with butter was absolutely phenomenal. Tried the Veal Parmigian it was ok. Service was great. Kind of romantic. Salad was good, but bread was cold and butter was hard. 8.0 out of 10.

This is a great Italian Restaurant located right on W 130th St off Sprague Rd. It is in a strip mall, so the front view does not do it proper justice. Upon your entrance, you can immediately sense the warmth of the friendly and cozy atmosphere. The menu is quite extensive. They serve warm bread that is fresh from the oven. The eggplant lasagna is delicious and the side salad is fresh and crisp. The veal is very tender and the braised short ribs are wonderful. Portions are generous so you can plan on leftovers too. The drinks are fabulous and the servers are friendly and prompt. We will return.

I really want to like this place. My wife order 2 pizzas, they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Got there 30 minutes later. Paid and then started waiting. I had to wait about 30 minutes more. They were very apologetic and did offer me a drink. When they finally brought out with pizzas they explained that the kitchen was down to 2 people. I understand things happen that are out of their control and I wasn’t upset; they did include a $10 gift certificate! However when I got home and opened the boxes we discovered the toppings were literally tossed onto 2 cheese pizzas after they were cooked. We have never seen anything like this before. In the end the pizza tasted OK and we will try again because of the gift certificate. Just unusual.

If I could leave less I would. We had a reservation for 6 for a Saturday and called to guarantee it was accurate. When we walked in they didn’t have us on the list. Eventually the hostess went and checked and we were on the books but they didn’t transfer us to their day sheet. When we joked and asked for a free dessert they said they can’t do anything and they are sorry. This is terrible customer service. Never come here to celebrate anything as your reservation means nothing!

When is it okay for chicken piccata to come out looking like soup and noodles? It also looks like the pan wasn’t hot enough for the chicken as it is missing the beautiful golden brown color it deserves, instead of this unappetizing grey-beige theme going on here.
