Chicken and waffles were great. The spicy honey really made the chicken pop. Champagne pork medallions were fantastic. The key lime martini tasted like key lime pie.

We had a good and bad first experience. I had called to see what time dinner started and was told 3:00. We waited until then because I wanted the shrimp and grits. Upon arrival we were told dinner was not until 5:00. The owner was apologetic and stated his 12 year old daughter just started working there and was answering the phone without knowing what to say. So we were going to leave but the owner was nice to allow us to go ahead and order from the dinner menu. My shrimp and grits were wonderful without the Cajun just as requested (as good as The Goat in Pigeon Forge) and the salads were good with fresh ingredients. The draw back was no cheese and no French dressing. Dressings are limited. The fish and chips was okay. My husband said it was nothing to write home about. Only four small nuggets of fish. The manager Rachel was super nice. Our waitress was not attentive to us with making posters for the nights drinks with the owner. You should never have to ask to have drinks refilled etc. but we knew she was busy getting ready to leave. She was nice. The dessert was just dessert. It was tasty. Overall it turned out to be a pretty good experience. We probably won’t make this a regular place since it was small portions for dinner size at $20+ a plate with and additional I think $7 for a house salad. In our opinion it is overpriced at $84.00 with tax for the just two of us with soda. It’s worth a try to see what you think. May they have much success.

Can’t say enough great things about this place! We came in late with our dog, and they didn’t have any outdoor seating set up due to possible rain. The owner set up a table for us outside just so we could dine with our doggo. Food was delicious and service was exceptional. My husband had the pork medallions, and I had the cashew salad with salmon. Highly recommend both dishes. We will definitely be back!!! Thanks again!

Fantastic menu, but stellar ingredients. Everything tastes really fresh and flavorful. The staff is always personable, not just friendly.

This place is amazing! It’s been two days since I went and I’m still thinking about how wonderful it was. I wanted to lick my plate of grits but, decided against it. They were busy and the service was still fantastic. One of the best meals I’ve ever had! Great job!!!

Sophisticated, yet affordable dishes! I can’t even remember what all we have tried on the menu so far, but we have yet to be disappointed!

Great place to eat downtown Bristol. Everything we’ve tried has been great. The best Club Sandwich and Chicken Salad. Must try the green beans with bacon and garlic (sweet and savory) Pasta salad and Mac n cheese were a hit. Every dish you think is a simple lunch item has a twist and will blow you away. Great job Bistro on 6th!!! Atmosphere is quiet and eclectic. Love everything about this place.

Menu item descriptions aren’t accurate. Not sure how “seasonal pickles” translates to raw vegetables partially submerged in some sort of red brine-like liquid. I also received bread instead of soda crackers – I wanted crackers and cheese, not bread and cheese. A manager stopped by because she heard I wasn’t pleased and she explained how it was a “play on words” (how does that make sense?!??) and a luke-warm offer was made “for my next visit”. Not how you make it right! My sandwich was good but the filling wasn’t evenly dispersed throughout the massive bread slices; not a proportionate sandwich. I may try it again because I like to support local but it’ll be tough.
