We had a WONDERFUL meal and overall experience here on 6/18/2023. Our server Courtney was super attentive, knowledgeable and just took great care of us. The appetizers we ordered were extremely generous portions and really delicious. Truly there was no need for an entrée, but we split the elk chops which were cooked to perfection and possibly the best elk I’ve had in ages. Sadly no room for dessert, but I bet it’s great here. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Every dish was unique and delicious in its own right. The flank steak was probably the best I’ve ever had and I’m a steak freak. Then the scallop and shrimp pasta was to die for. The noodles, the sauce, and the perfectly seared scallops that literally melted in your mouth was on point. The flavor profiles were top knotch. And don’t even get me started on the strawberry creme brule….. I will be returning. If you want to have a high end dining taste and feel for middle of the road pricing I highly suggest the Bistro. Also, maybe you’ll get lucky to have Robert as your server. Super cool, laid back and was very professional.

We had a reservation for 7, but got done early and they were able to accommodate us. The service was outstanding, very quick on water service and for the server to greet us. We had the Hot Honey Cauliflower, it was a little on the sweet side, but still very well prepared. The butter with the bread basket was outstanding! Husband has sea bass. It was a little rich, but good. The veggie bowl was fresh and the steak frites our daughter loved. Would come again definitely.

My favorite outdoor patio overlooking the beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets, in St Joseph! Stellar Food! Always done right. Reasonable drink prices. Appetizers, salads & sandwiches are generous shareable portions, making it a five-star economical choice! After years of feasting on the amazing chicken cobb salad , today I tried their new wedge salad. It was one of the most beautiful and delicious salads I have ever eaten! The house made Maple pork belly was to die for! Entrees are on the high end, but a perfect celebration or date place.

I wish I could leave a more positive review for Bistro, but both times I have visited while staying at the Boulevard Hotel, I’ve been underwhelmed by everything except the prices (which are quite high frankly). I feel like the effort is being made with high-end menu offerings, but the execution just misses by a little. There are several excellent offerings in St. Joe at this price point, and I’m afraid Bistro will have to step up their game a little in order to draw anyone other than hotel guests that just don’t care to leave the property. I will try them again next time, because it wasn’t bad, but I wish I could give them 4 or 5 stars. Maybe next time!

Great location near Lake Michigan (few min walk to the beach). Very good service. Ordered sea bass and sole and chocolate cake. They were very flavorful and tasty. I would highly recommend this place.

Been there many times and usually very satisfied. But this time they dropped the salt shaker on my plate. I complained but did not want to demand a new steak and asparagus (both extremely salty along with the demi glace) so I ate what I could. They offered no compensation ( like a free dessert or a discount of some kind), which was a surprise.
