Nice quaint restaurant. My first time going, definitely not the last. Our server was great! She made good suggestions on the food. She kept our table full with beautiful glass water bottles . I really love this place. I look forward to going again. Did I mention great mimosas ?

Small, out of the way place in an historic district with great food and loads of atmosphere to enjoy. The bistro occupies a converted historic home with warm, luscious hardwoods and high ceilings. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Our waiter was attentive and insured we enjoyed our meal. My wife had a filet and I had the catch of the day: seared redfish on a bed of couscous. This was the first steak in ages my wife did not have to send back. It was grilled to absolute perfection, warm throughout, yet, pink in the center. The redfish was delicious and the couscous some of the best I’ve had since I left Morocco. All in all, we highly recommend Bistro St. Emmanuel. We’ll be back!

Our groups experience was not very pleasant. We should have left as soon as we were asked how many of us there were. When I answered 8, the girl was not pleased. She then let us know we would have to sit outside and asked if that was ok. She then just pointed to where we go outside. She did not follow us or anything. So, we sat ourselves and pulled together tables and chairs. No big deal.

Great customer service. Food was perfectly cooked and the atmosphere was quaint, quiet and tucked away right beside downtown. Perfect spot for a get together

Today we were seared and water was served and then we were ignored. The waitress who seated us never returned either to ask how we were doing or to take our order. The restaurant was not busy—several empty tables. Two other waitresses were there, walked by us, and ignored us. After 15 minutes we left. This is awful service. Whoever managed the restaurant needs to supervise the 4th rate waitresses. The three of the were often gathered at the bar, just chatting. My wife and I have eaten here before. Several months ago. We have never seen such negligent service at this Bistro. I hope the manager cares enough about the dining experience to do something about the unprofessional staff this morning.

Cute place, classy, nice outdoor seating. When we made a reservation for the hotel, they asked us our breakfast and dinner time, yet the restaurant said they don’t acknowledge that request? So make sure you make a reservation with the restaurant, not when you book a room. The service wasn’t great, we sat outside forever waiting. They were out of everything, someone isn’t doing their job ordering supplies obviously. We waited on drinks, waited on food, and waited again for silverware while our food got cold. The restaurant has great potential but it definitely hasn’t reached it yet. Nice place, pretty good tatsting food, just need to get it together. I mean how do you not have half the sides on the menu? Unacceptable for their prices
