We saw this tavern in an Instagram post and had to try it. It was more than worth the drive! The food was fresh and delicious. My 10 year old loved the burger and the fresh chips. I had cheese curds, and they were delicious.

Loved the renovations. Fish Fry was crispy seasoned light battered with french fries, bread/butter, broccoli slaw and lemon. Quick service, comfy atmosphere.

Ate here for the second time, food was delicious! For an appetizer we ordered the Flammkuchen. Which was a flatbread pizza with a creamy french onion base. topped with bacon, tomatoes, and caramelized onions. I ordered the jalapeño ranch burger, it was an excellent smash burger. The pickle fries were also super tasty. All in all the food was exquisite, can’t wait to head back soon.

New owners who are learning how to run a bar with food service. Got the wrong food order. It was good but I ate a quarter of it and decided not to make a big issue about it. But did bring it to the attention of our server who replied ” was it good?” Not the response I was looking for. It’s on our to return list but not for a while.

I heard this place was remodeled extensively and boy did the owners do a great bar. Seeing the bar’s surface is worth the visit alone. Four of us had their fish fry, it’s buttered style, I prefer beaded, but it was tasty and under $15 was a fair value. The service was good even with the big Friday crowd. Can be a bit noisy since it’s not a big place, but overall glad we tried it.

Cool place all around with great service and food. Got a smash burger with homemade chips (a little too salty but good) and a few cocktails. Bar itself is smaller but the dining area has plenty of room with a back deck. I’ll definitely be back, recommended!
