No frills restaurant with quality southern food, the people who work there are very lovely too. Everything is made to order, and will say their fried chicken and Mac and cheese are solid. Definitely more of a lunch/dinner spot, as their breakfast was just okay.

We bought 3 mile, high cakes, Strawberry, Coconut Cream and a Chocolate marble cake. I had a small cub of her spit-pea soup with her homemade croutons. Momma put her foot into thoes croutons.

My friend and I went here to grab a quick bite to eat for breakfast. For starters the guy in the front needs to fix his attitude because he referred to me as bro and made me feel as if we had to rush to place an order. When it was ready the man screamed “yo” to get our attention. There’s no ventilation which probably caused the smell inside to be unsuitable to eat in. Almost everything we ordered was wrong asked for scrambled eggs, got fried I wanted cheddar cheese, got American, asked for white bread and got a roll when he told us they didn’t have rolls. When we asked for our food to go because we didn’t want to sit inside and then someone from the kitchen shouted and asked for us to sit and stay there.

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Wife and I had the fried chicken dinner and it was by far one of the best we’ve had. Wait time for food can be a bit because the chicken is huge! So come prepared for that but the wait is absolutely worth it.

Such awesome people! All of the food is made to order, but totally worth the wait. I really enjoyed the fried chicken legs and thighs. Battered and fried to perfection. The batter didn’t fall apart and the meat was super tender. Everyone was friendly even though they were packed the entire time (I’m sure it’s exhausting to have so many customers). I can’t wait to go back soon!

This was delicious and filling. BBQ and fried chicken were both great and big portions. All of the sides (collard greens, yams and the mashed potatoes) were yummy as well. It was a great pit stop and it is too bad I don’t live nearby.
