Comfortable space with inviting service. We were waited on – this means that upon arrival we were in conversation and asked for another moment. The service, boomeranging back, was not too early and allowed our conversation to finish.

Overall, the sticky mango rice (which was seasonal according to the menu) was outstanding. The rice was well steamed, and had the perfect amount of flavor. The coconut milk sauce on the side was good as well. Not to mention the mangos were extremely fresh and sweet. A simple yet delicious dessert. The service provided by the young lady was great as well. Will recommend to try it out before the mangoes go out of season.

This little spot is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in LA. I tend to find each restaurant has a specific dish or dishes that is more authentic or that I favor but BKK’s entire menu is spot on. From Mama’s ribs, larb gai, herbal wings and sticky rice, it’s as close to Bangkok street food as you’ll get in LA.

I chose “mild” for the spicy level for my curry but it came out too spicy. Curry is not thick enough and lack of flavor except spicy. Pad Thai is all right. Thai fried rice is not flavorful and the rice is too soft.

Found this hidden gem of a place on my way walking the other day. The food is EXCELLENT. And the people here are always nice and friendly. I always order the Tom Kha (coconut soup) and it’s very rich and creamy. The other items in the menu are really well made and I come over just to eat in this place, because it’s my favorite Thai place so far. The prices are the same as other places, but it’s twice the quality. Sincerely a great place to eat. 5 stars

Incredibly delicious and flavorful Thai food that tasted even better than most of the food I had in Thailand. The panang curry and roti curry were delightful. I even went back the next night for dinner.

Ordered over Uber Eats a few days ago and I wish I didn’t, it was overpriced and absolutely not tasty. If I’ve dined in the food would’ve been sent back instantly. Larb is a dish known full of meat, I received a tiny tea spoon of pork horribly seasoned with a box full of vermicelli. The green curry was just sad. The only tasty thing wast the Roti curry, buuuut it was a tiny little bowl (even though I ordered large) with hair in it for extra kreatin. If you really want authentic and good thai food try Wat Thai Saturday and Sunday food market.

Wonderful Thai restaurant! Reasonably priced with decent portions. The Soft Shell crab curry is to die for!!! Two whole crabs and a lot of veggies in the curry, along with a big bowl of rice had me totally full. I ordered it spicy, and it was really spicy! Other Thai restaurants I’ll order “Thai spicy” but I probably won’t here 🙂 We came a little late, right before they closed at 3:30, but the service and quality of food was still wonderful. Did not feel rushed at all. I will be back to try some more dishes.

We made it just before they were closing lunch, so we grabbed takeout. It was absolutely delicious. The spice was real. Fresh and flavorful. What a meal. Worth every penny.

I recommend that you skip BKK101. I picked up an order of chicken curry from there. It was very disappointing. Pathetic actually. If I had dined in I would have sent it back. It was curry soup to be eaten with a spoon. The carrots and potatoes were hard. Partially cooked. And there were just a few tiny pieces of some type of Tysons frozen chicken nuggets. Ridiculous! After I took a few bites the rest went to the trash. $16.46 for garbage. No customers at 6pm on Saturday night should have been a dead giveaway that I was in a bad place. There is a convenient dumpster right outside to throw your order into.
