The restaurant is an experience in itself. It has the feel of a theme park restaurant where everything is thought out. The place is meant to look like a log cabin. The menus are newspapers the food is comfort food.

Used to love this place. The quality has definitely gone down. The waitress sucked. No utensils or napkins set on the table. Asked for utensils and they were given to us in a wet plate. No napkins either. Asked another waiter and he brought them out super quickly. 10 minutes later I asked for a water and surprise surprise- out of no where comes out waitress and brings us water and then throws the napkins rudely onto the table. No receipt given either. Our table was completely forgotten despite being the biggest table smack in the middle of the entire diner. The audacity to ask for a tip after a service like that is hilarious. Some of the food was cold, but I will say the waffles were good.

This is a great place to have breakfast. There is always a long line but it definitely worth it. Portions are good size and food is really good. They have kids menu and very ingenious pancakes which my kid loved. I would definitely recommend and come back to this place

Brought family here for the first time and was not disappointed. Service was great and the breakfast was perfection. The buscuit was a bit dry and almost tasted like cornbread but was very good with some butter and jelly. Overall, really enjoyed the food and coffee was fresh.

Tried out Black Bear for the first time and it was delicious! The breakfast portions were pretty big, unable to finish it.. the kids loved their bear pancakes and best of all, the service! Our server Shantel was awesome! Perky attitude, friendly, very attentive -constantly checked up on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. We will definitely be back. 🙂
