I was staying at the Holiday Inn nearby, and two of the employees recommended Black Bear. I went and gave it a try and was blown away. Everything was so flavorful. I was expecting to need steak sauce with the steak, but it was seasoned so well, I didn’t need to! The eggs were made perfect for me (I eat them scrambled well done, because I’m weird and don’t like gooey eggs). And oh my gosh the pancake. It was so sweet and rich and delicious; they also came highly recommended and no regrets.

Breakfast here is amazing. Huge helpings. Had the California omelet. It had avocado, mushrooms, and cheese! Got the incredible pancakes and some fresh fruit to go with it. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. Food is a little pricey for breakfast, but it was excellent.

I have been here twice, in the afternoon. Each time I have had breakfast. The plate is always enough to take home some. It’s neat that they make homemade desserts and bear claws. Don’t forget to sign-up for the rewards club to get a free meal for sign up, and your birthday. The price is around $15 a plate. The waiters have been splendid. It’s been slow during my visits. Both visits they have offered to make me to-go drinks. The location is right off the highway. It can be tricky to get into the parking lot

Editing my review. The first time eating here went really well. Food and orange juice were really good. 2nd time around 2 weeks later, they changed the drink sizing but not the price. What was basically a 16oz size small orange is now a baby water cup drink for $3.89. I asked about it and the guy at the front told me the cup size has changed. I really liked their orange juice but yeah for a child cup size orange juice is not worth the price .

We ordered 3 kids meals plus our own paid like $50 for all of it and this is what we had for our kids meals… barely anything..we ended up having to find something else to put with them just so they’d get full… we LOVE eating here but tonight was very disappointing…..
