Just good food and the girls are amazing and the town history is so cool. Deff will be back. Worth the wait if any and the locals are helpful with suggestions and surroundings. Great stuff on the bike or in the car.

Pretty good service and food! My brother and I was rolling for the second day in a row since 7h in the morning.. We came from 45min north of Montreal (Canada) .. We goes to mount Washington.. Portland.. And came back to Canada passing by Colebrook.. Tired and hungry’s we found the Black Bear Tavern .. Super service, kind person .. We say Canadian are super kind but I know a lot of restaurants in Canada who’s don’t give that kind of service!! Really good food the maple burger really taste maple and I know what I’m talking about maple .. Good choice of beer ! The place to stop when you’re passing by !!!

Food has potential! Blueberry bbq ribs sound amazing but pretty average. Steak was good. Mashed potatoes were amazing! The service was great! Waitresses were attentive and kind. Atmosphere was kinda antiquated.

Had a group of nine on a lunch visit coming back from Canada to Maine and this was the highlight of our whole trip. All the meals were fantastic. The fettuccine Alfredo was to die for. All food was fresh, served quickly, with excellent service. Highly recommend.

They are the best place in town and not just because there are so few options lol. The staff is very friendly and the food never disappoints. We were visiting from out of town for the week and came here 3 times!

Servers are super nice and even offered to pay for our desert when it took long for our food to come out but the food was very over priced and they made my burger well done even tho i asked for rare. My friend got the surf and turf for around 40$ and it came with a tiny steak and 3 scallops, not worth it!

We had dinner twice here while staying in Colebrook. The staff offered a warm welcome and the waitresses we’re good fun. Fresh stuffed halibut one night was excellent and prime rib the other night came rare as requested. Super dessert options if you save room.
