If you love REAL southern BBQ, go here immediately! I had the sampler with pulled pork, brisket and ribs and they were amazing. Their mac & cheese and coleslaw were incredible. Even the garlic bread was delicious! It’s a small place but the food is incredible and the owners are a joy to talk to. They even brought us out some burnt ends to sample. I just wish I had room to try their desserts. We’ll definitely be back.

Best barbecue I’ve had on this side of Michigan. Much better than any other barbecue joint around. I had a half rack of baby back ribs, they were cooked perfectly. I was also fortunate enough to try a new sauce called Texas sauce I think. Also had mac n cheese and corn on the cob. Both were amazing. Will definitely be going back. The owners, Chuck and Dale were very friendly and gave my wife and I good conversation. A must try if you enjoy very good barbecue.

Made from scratch pretzel rolls for my pulled pork sandwich were amazing! What I loved most about this restaurant is that most everything is made from scratch! Homemade cole slaw and mashed potatoes….could have been a meal by itself! Definitely worth the drive!

Chicken, potatoes, baked beans was good, Mac & cheese dry! Ribs came late so not sure how they were. Corn bread dry! This was a catered event, came an hour late & made a second trip with the second pan of ribs & then brought the bbq sauce after everyone was finished eating. Not sure I would return or

Everything we have tried there is amazing. It’s a small Casual little place, but the food is GREAT. Hamburgs made fresh to order (wishes meat was seasoned more for the hamburger). Other wise no complaining here. It worth the short drive to it.

Pretty good BBQ and decent service. There is definitely a Mom & Pop feel to the place. Location is not great, lots of noise from the busy road just a few feet off the front door, so don’t expect to have a quiet meal here.

Unfortunately I have to rate this restaurant with a 1star, the service was very friendly, the food was absolutely terrible. We tried the sample plater, brisket, ribs and pulled pork. It was not busy but we waited a very long time for the food to come out. We received our food, it was cold, I took one bit of the rib, it was raw, the brisket was the thinnest slice of meat I have seen at a bbq joint and it was more of a jerky texture, very very dry. The pulled pork was odd, it was dry with no flavor. The homemade potato salad was equally odd, potatoes were Not cut to the same size, it was runny with a salad dressing taste with pickles only. I consider myself a bbq fanatic and was excited to try a new place.

The Brisket melted in your mouth. The onion rings were out of this world. Everything was delicious. They make everything from scratch so there is a 20 to 30 minute wait for the food but definitely worth definitely worth every minute!

Always love the food here! Great home touxhes to gourmet flavors and expertly prepared BBQ (most people just drown the meat in sauce at other BBQ joints) here they prepare and smoke the meat so it has flavors thar are amazing ontheir own. Remeber to call or message ahead since they often sell out. Can’t recommend them enough. Take you time and go to black bull!

Great food with great owners. Have been here a couple times and never leave hungry. The owners will take time to visit with you if your willing. It does take some time to get food so go when you have time to relax after ordering your food.
