We had an exceptional dining experience due to the wonderful waitstaff person, Michael, who was marvelous. We enjoyed our light fare servings very much. We had the mussels with garlic bread in a perfectly seasoned garlic sauce, the clam chowder (the portion is not large, but the guest was not hungry), the burger and fries, and the goat cheese/berry salad. The goat cheese on the salad was too much like a cottage cheese for my liking, but it was still tasty. We really did enjoy our time visiting the 45 minutes to be seated because with a rainy day, we had no other plans. They have the seating app which was helpful to see our countdown time, but this restaurant is very busy, so plan accordingly. They do encourage patrons to shop while one waits since they will send text when a table is open. We sat outside and loved that! We will be back!

My partner and I ordered the beet and blue salad and a veggie burger to split. Our plates arrived with everything split into two portions. Icing on the cake was that we each got our own pickle! We didn’t expect it to all be split up for us and it was a lovely surprise. The food and service was great! We also appreciated the availability of a bunch of non-alcoholic mocktails.

We’re from out of state & tried this place on a whim; so glad we did! Neither of us had carpaccio before and it was so good. We enjoyed the potstickers too. Our entrees were delicious. I think the sauce for the scallops could be tweaked a bit but just my personal opinion. And our waiter was very attentive.

Spent a quiet Sunday afternoon in September enjoying the patio and some delicious food. Black Cap always provides an excellent meal and today was no different. Potstickers for appetizer, scallops, and halibut for mains. Love the new menu and can’t wait to try more of it!

Lunch was great. My wife had the chicken and prosciutto while I had the Korean brisket steam buns. Both were excellent as we’re the drinks. The waiter was very friendly.

We came in for a late lunch, told it’d be 15mins for an outdoor table for 4, sat in less than 10. The server was attentive and pleasant. Tap beer was good but the food was AMAZING. I wish I got photos of the hubs wings but he chowed down immediately.

You can actually eat outside with your dog. I was on a 1600 miles road trip so far and this is the most dog unfriendly town. This place is the opposite. Plus the soup and the burger were awesome. Oh Kim, was a life saver. Kept my dog company while I ran inside to use the restroom. Good people.
