Black Diamond Resort Co is a fun and unique locally owned business in the heart of Alaska. We focus of great food made from scratch and serve up some classic dishes. All of our tours can be enjoyed with a dining expereince during your tour. We are located close to Denali National Park and offer transportation to and from our location. We offer a full serivce resturant with a beer and wine license, we have a 9 hole Tundra Golf Course, ATV Tours, Side by Side Tours, All Terain Treasure Hunt Adventures, Gift Shop, Draft Horse Drawn Covered Wagon Tours, and a small 28 room hotel located about 3 miles from Black Diamond called Aurora Denali Lodge. We had a really great side-by-side tour here today. The machines were new Polaris Rangers, and the staff super friendly and fun (shout out to Wyatt, Rosemary, and Jan!). The lunch served at the mid-point was WAY better than expected, with lots of variety served hot and ‘family style’. It would have been nice to get some more trail time, as we went just under 10 miles – granted this was at low speed on rocky trails, but if you’ve spent any time in an ATV previously you’ll be be left wanting more.

This place has the potential to be SO MUCH MORE than what it is. Honestly, it feels run down and is missing a certain dose of professionalism. We took the early morning tour, but were unimpressed with how our guides didn’t seem to dress the part or appear “awake” enough for the tour. Too many questions were asked which took away from enjoying some of the peacefulness of the ride.

Came in at 9:30pm and was able to grab a meal right before closing. Had the entire place to myself. Food is DELICIOUS, and staff are very professional. Don’t be intimidated by the label “resort,” this place is very relaxing, down to earth and a great dining experience!

Side by Side ATV: This was one of our favorite Alaska experiences! As we were the boldest (and probably youngest) on this excursion through Princess, our guides Antoine and Evan granted our request and put us right up front with our ATV right behind him. Antoine is so knowledgeable and loved sharing with the group. We learned so much and had a blast. Waterproof (mudproof) clothing is a must. And don’t bring anything you don’t absolutely need. The meal was surprisingly delicious. Chicken, pork, salmon, cornbread, corn on the cob, salads, dessert, soft drinks, beer and wine. A must do. Worth every penny.

$100.00 for a goat path field with a half mowed mound and PVC cut out for a hole is a little ridiculous! Used clubs couldn’t even be sold at a flea market. Reviews were misleading and infuriated everyone who was picked up to play. The scenery was beautiful but should not have been more than $15 to use the gas in the cart. We did get a towel, so maybe $16. We had to share 7 clubs and nine was all we could stand.

Be ready for a dirty, bumpy ride but it’s nothing more than what they tell you to expect at booking and is definitely an authentic Alaska experience! The guides are cool, the views are spectacular, and the back country dining is a fun bonus mid-ride. Opportunities to see wildlife up close are included, we had the good luck of seeing a mama moose and her baby! Jack and Evan were super nice and they made sure everyone had a great time — thanks, guys ❤️ 10/10 recommend if you’re up for an adventure!
