Delicious!! From the moment we opened the door the staff was welcoming. Loved the cozy vibe and warm fireplace. Nikki was our attentive and friendly server. My husband and I ordered a variety of cocktails and appetizers. We enjoyed every bite! My husband said it was the best calamari he has ever had. The ricotta was to die for. I would have been happy with just the ricotta alone! He had the lobster gnocchi and I enjoyed the oven roasted chicken breast. The chicken was super tender and I enjoyed the flavor and artichokes. For dessert we had the bread pudding and chocolate pot de crème. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to come back again!

Incredible experience ~ drinks, appetizers & entrees were wonderful but most of all the service received was one for the books. We are new to this area and the twinkle lights drew our attention. Nicki was amazing – her energy really made the night & the owner Karen was pleasant & shared more about their Wednesday pasta night & Thursday night bingo. We will be back to try their pizza next! *get the Brussels sprouts – they are too good to miss!

This absolutely one of the best restaurants on LBI!! You will not find a more friendly staff, service is incredible, food is more than delicious. Whether you are having a simple pizza or one of the amazing fish dishes. Chef Chris has a way of bringing out all of the flavors. The black garlic cesar salad is a must start. I highly recommend this restaurant, we go at least once a week.

Walked in Fourth of July weekend around 8 and they accommodated us inside no problem. Friendly service and good food and drinks. Angry crab pizza is our favorite and never disappoints. Good portion sizes too.

My new husband and I rented the private 2nd floor event space for our microwedding reception. We are so thrilled with our experience and decision to celebrate at Black Eyed Susans. The food was exceptional which was very important to us when planning our big day. Members of our party all agreed these were the best crabcakes we’ve had in our lives! The staff was incredibly friendly and even partook in the “Advice for the New Mr. And Mrs.” station which we loved that the the staff was both professional and part of the family for the evening. If you’re looking for a beautiful space to rent for a special occasion please consider Black Eyed Susans for your big day!
