We had a magical time at Black Forest Bistro last night. It was our first visit and they exceeded our every expectation. We lucked out with weather and were able to enjoy a great jazz/blues/standards duo on the wonderful patio. The cocktails were refreshingly creative, the presentation was spot on, and the food was fantastic. Our favorites were the Korean Sticky Street Noodles and the Cobbler. Everyone was personable and we enjoyed the welcoming, relaxing environment that isn’t easy to find with such outstanding food. We can’t wait to go back!

We went for dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. It was the first time we ate there (the limited hours made it really difficult for us). It was quite warm inside, I broke out in a light sweat just eating our meal. The waitresses were very friendly. We ordered from the prix-fixe menu. The food and house red wine were good. We’d go back here in the future if we could get our schedule to line up with their availability.

This place is incredible! I’m a vegetarian and even though the menu was limited for me the server and chef went above and beyond to accommodate me. My boyfriend got the Maple Bacon Old Fashioned and thought it was unbelievably good. Everything we ate was tasty but he said that the Lobster Ravioli is definitely the way to go. Fantastic service, atmosphere, and food – we can’t wait to go back!

Thank you to a friends recommendation, we would of never known about this place. Only 10 minutes from Flying Horse is Black Forest Bistro. Chef/Owner Deanna Johnson takes great pride in preparing all her meals. You would never know from the outside that when you sat down you would be served a 5 star meal. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable and the food will have your taste buds thanking you. #supportlocalbusiness We will be back soon!

We were greeted and seated promptly at our reservation time. I had the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, African salmon for my entree, and berry cheesecake for dessert. All of the food was delicious and portion sizes were appropriate. All of the food was also brought out fairly quickly. My biggest issue was that the dining room was incredibly crowded and between the large quantity of people and live band it was nearly impossible to have a conversation. If you are looking for great food, I would 100% recommend the Black Forest Bistro, but if you’re looking for a peaceful dinner with good conversation you may want to look elsewhere. Nevertheless, I will likely be back when I’m in the mood for some good food.

We had such a wonderful evening here. We started with a couple cocktails and the ceviche flight appetizer, then for our entrees we ordered the lamb shank and the Korean noodles. Everything was delicious and the portions were incredibly generous for the quality of food (I saved the leftover noodles for lunch the next day and they were still great reheated). We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes, it’s definitely worth the drive to Black Forest if you don’t live in the area.

We came to visit from Texas and had the best experience. Starting from when we entered until we left! The food was absolutely amazing and the drinks were delicious! We couldn’t decide on an appetizer, so we ordered 2. We left completely stuffed but wanting more. Took our dessert to go because we didn’t want to miss out on it! Our server Melissa was wonderful, sweet and with the most beautiful inviting smile! Thank you Melissa for making this evening so pleasant for us! We will for sure be back to the Black Forest Bistro the next time we come to visit Colorado ❤️

This little place is quite a surprise! Great food and wonderful service. It was my birthday. Not only did they give me the traditional free dessert, which was incredible, but they gave me a card and a small box of truffles! I can’t begin to tell you how many of the staff members wished me happy birthday. The cocktails were also fabulous. Seek out this gem. I promise you won’t be sorry! But make sure you have reservations!

My husband and I ate dinner for the first time at the Black Forest Bistro and OMG! The food was amazing! All of our choices were EXCELLENT! I had the special, Chilean Sea Bass and he had the Korean Bulgogi Beef Noodles. So yummy! The cocktails were also very good! Definitely a great place to dine!

This restaurant is definitely in the Top 10 best restaurants I’ve ever been to. My wife and I were in town visiting friends and they recommended this place. We both travel a lot and always try to eat at local places. We have been to 41 states and 11 different countries, so when I put this restaurant in my top 10 it’s really saying something.
