A great and maybe a little pricey little burger joint. This is a very pub/Cheers bar vibe here. A very long narrow space. The burgers from $18 to around $24 and fries are extra! I had herb & garlic fries but they just tasted like regular fries to me. The burger was actually excellent. Service was good.

Came here for a quick bite before catching the 9:30 pm LIRR. $15.50 house special aka BLACK IRON BURGER. Double patties with a nice gluten free brioche bun. Deduct $3.50 if minus GF bun. Good meat texture & flavor. $9 Allagash white on tap. Had 2 glasses to go with the burger. Skipped the fries cause need to drop weight for race rides . Very friendly staff and I sat at the bar counter. Extra star for bike friendliness & accommodation .

Great food. The place was full at 7:30pm on a Wednesday night. Our party of 5 was seated at the bar table, still pretty comfortable. The food make up for it. Aside from burgers, should try their wings, too.

Work in the area and always looking for a good late night option for dinner. So happy my boyfriend found this place! Don’t usually eat beef burgers, but when a restaurant’s motto is “no body beats out meat”, you have to make an exception. Seriously, one of the best, if not THE BEST burger I’ve ever had. Ordered the Epic burger (Amazing) and my boyfriend ordered the Masterpiece. He loves a bacon burger and he was definitely impressed. The truffle cheese fries were delicious and a perfect side. Prices are very reasonable and the service was prompt, attentive, and incredibly friendly. Can’t wait to go back:)!!

The burgers at Black Iron were really delicious, just the right size so I didn’t feel too full. I really enjoyed the whole burger without feeling uncomfortable. The bacon…the bacon!!! BEST BACON EVER!!!! The onion rings had a perfectly light and crispy batter, not greasy at all. They tasted amazing and made a lasting impression. Looking forward to my next visit.
