This is a nice cozy old town environment. The food was decent I can see returning, service was ok however the manager is very brash and we got the feeling she did not care to have us there not welcoming at all.

I enjoyed the food. It was pricey but good. The pizza is really cheesy and I like that. It was crowded but that’s okay. Service was nice as well. The lady at the table next to us kept complaining that the soup was too salty… Then she sent it back. I didn’t experience that. Then she kept telling her husband that it was too loud and started talking bad about the people at the bar. I’m kind of a nosey drama lover so I listened as best I could. But I couldn’t hear much because the people at the bar were being really loud. But overall I had a good time.

I recently went here for lunch with my newborn and upon arrival the manager was very concerned about my normal sized stroller fitting in the seating area and being a hazard to her staff. She gave us the work around on how there were no other tables available that could accommodate us. Instead the server was kind enough to find a table that worked nicely. Food was great, server was nice. We’ve been here several times throughout the years for brunch, dinner and even during the pandemic and I’ve never felt so unwelcome as I did today. This was also my first outing post baby and I was really looking forward to it…. The manager needs to do better.

Such a unique place! By the train tracks in the suburbs. Super charming with lots of history! Food was solid.

Have been coming here off and on for years. Tucked away in a lovely neighborhood adjacent to a MARC commuter station in a house like structure. Food has always been consistently good. Wait staff also well trained and friendly.

I was searching for a brunch place and found this restaurant got really good reviews, so just came by for dine in. Everything turns out very well. The location and building is very unique, love the cozy feeling. The squash soup and pizza really stood out. Server is super friendly and recommended today’s specials. Will definitely come again.

One of my favorite places that I’ve been coming to for years. The food is always high quality, delicious, and beautiful. The staff are lovely as well. The location of this place is stunning and the interior design makes it feel both historic and homey. While we usually come for dinner, the brunch on the weekends is equally as delightful.

Very quaint restaurant in an old Victorian house right next to a MARC train station. The food was good. Good service. A bit pricey, but hey that’s the DMV. I liked the atmosphere, but many people were complaining about the trains passing by every 15 minutes or so during rush hour. That doesn’t make sense to me, as the restaurant clearly advertises that it’s right next to a train station. So don’t go if you’re not a fan of trains, or go on the weekend.

What an idyllic magical hidden place to have a relaxing brunch. Hidden in a residential area next to a park and the Garrett Park train station, it’s incredibly charming and historic. The basement of the old house holds the post office. The upstairs has the great restaurant with fabulous food. The street in front is closed off for outside seating with plenty of shaded seating. We had a wonderful time with amazing french food. The name has market in it, but there is no market, just a great restaurant. Lots of inside seating in the in old house also. Lovely!
