Joe is such a warm and welcoming bartender/ owner. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was delicious and elegant yet simple. A short food menu done well is something to be appreciated. This weekend my partner and I went twice. We both really enjoyed the B.L.A.T. It’s just so delicious! I also got the Mac and cheese, which was so rich and creamy. The salad my partner got was fresh and had nice flavors. Inside vibe is cozy, rustic mountain; the outside vibe is city neighboorhood curbside tables with great music and gorgeous flower centerpieces. We will certainly be back. This is a great new spot in the CWE with fair prices, inviting atmosphere, great food and open late.

Hidden gem in the central west end. Come for the wine and vibes, and stay for the food, the people, and more wine. Joe, owner and bartender, knows his stuff. “Every bottle has a story,” he’ll say as he makes you feel like you grew the grapes yourself. Bottom line: worth a visit and many returns.

This spot does NOT deserve anything less than 10 stars. The food was amazing, the staff was amazing, and the service was out of this world. I definitely recommend stopping by here if you appreciate good ambiance and good people.

Neatly curated wine selections. Impressively well done food menu that is all the more shockingly good since one would think food would be at least a bit of a side gig at a “wine house.”

Great neighborhood and STL addition. Nice wine selection, and the Mac n’ cheese worth the trip!

The best thing about this place in my opinion is the ambiance, super cozy, rustic and intimate with nice music. It was even better on a cold Sunday evening. The wines they had were good, ended up trying several ones on the table and all were pretty solid, the server didn’t know some answer but try to get them for us so that’s nice. I think the food is the weakest thing, we had olives, 3 cheeses, roasted tomatoes, meatballs, beans and Mac and cheese. The beans were, to me the best ones and most flavorful. The Mac and cheese was a little salty and the meatballs were good but bland. A couple of plates came with bread and it was not the best bread, not sure what the deal is but I hoped for crispy/toasted bread but it was a bit hard. All this could be my taste but hope to see some changes if more customers feel the same way.

This is a perfect wine bar. Knowledgeable and fun staff, amazing selection, food to die for, and the little wine shop has things I’ve never seen before but fall in love with. This place rules.

This is a great spot to meet for a drink and a bite. We have gone here a number of times for pleasure and also for work meetings. I own a piano shop up the street and am soooooo happy to have a place to walk to for a happy hour drink and chat with Joe the owner.
