On vacation in Ruston, Louisiana for 5 days. Two and a half days have passed. Desperately in need of good coffee. Googled coffee near my hotel. Black Rifle Coffee Company appeared. They cater to military veterans and first responders. I’m a veteran, so this was the place to visit. As you pull up the driveway, you’ll see Old Glory standing tall and proud. There is a nice covered patio for you sit outside, if you like. The building is beautifully designed. It is coupled with 5.11 tactical by Karl Malone. When you walk inside, team members greet you like you are family. The interior design makes you feel like you are on vacation, in a cabin, in the mountains of Colorado. The sitting area in front of the fireplace is my favorite. Sara helped me make my coffee selection. I selected the Feature brand. It is delicious. Ms. Chris introduced herself. Made me feel at home. She knows coffee. Just ask her. Had the pleasure to meet Hunter, also. To help you feel relaxed while sippin’ your coffee, you’ll softly hear country music playing from the speakers. I don’t want to leave and you won’t either. Stop in and enjoy it for yourself or use the drive-thru. Whenever I am in Ruston, this will be my BRCC spot !!!

Coffee is really good, staff is super friendly, and the seating options and amount of seating is perfect. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant which was good but not enough protein for over $6. I recommend either more bacon or thicker bacon. It reminded me of the cheap pre-cooked bacon from Sam’s Club. Overall, I will definitely be back. I appreciate them opening at 6:00am because so many coffee shops in Ruston do not open that early for some odd reason.

Do you enjoy the scent of gun oil with your coffee? Do you think being caffeinated should be part of your second amendment rights? Then this is the place for you! Their coffee is fantastic and the staff is super friendly. I recommend the Smoking Joe. it’s a latte with the flavor of hickory smoke.

Felt like I was stepping into a mountain lodge … loved the powerful welcoming atmosphere! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly but most importantly- the coffee! The big chain coffee store was closed so decided to look for an alternative. This Black Rifle was found and appears to be a new store to Ruston. Wish this was here while I was in school. Amazing store, excellent brand, and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
