My server was very polite and knew the menu inside and out… walked me through the menu, which had a lot of cool original things to come back and try…I went for the Classic Combo because it was my first time here and I wanted something I was more familiar with as a test… wow… I’m blown away… it took very little time to receive… man I would have waited a day for pizza this good…I am instantly reminded of what pizza is SUPPOSED to taste like! I’ve been in Hawaii 40 years now and have had pizza good and bad but this is the new standard for me. I look forward to many many more visits…

What a wonderful new edition to Maui! The pizza scene was really lacking and then Black Rock came along. The remodel and build out of the space is tastefully done and a breath of freshness in Maui. The pizza was absolutely on point. We look forward to returning. We also understand they will be open for brunch as well.

We came for lunch and nearly had the place to ourselves. We are local and decided to try this place out after having some of their pizza at a friends house. We got a pepperoni for the kids and a chicken bacon ranch for the adults. We subbed mozzarella for cheddar on that one. You can really tell the quality of ingredients. Pizza tasted amazing the toppings were distributed nice and even. Staff was nice and attentive. We will back!

Awesome new pizza spot in Kihei! The Hoi BBQ pizza was . Friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Can’t wait to try the other dishes! We got a wild hair and ordered the cauliflower wings, skip those and go for the regular ones. I’m sure the others are delicious! We will be back here for sure

Great spot for some awesome pizza! Even better spot if you’re vegan! They have some amazing vegan options like the cauliflower wings, vegan pasta and house made vegan cheese!!!! Don’t forget to save room for dessert Which is some silky, dreamy chocolate pie with coconut. There’s even a vegan option! My husband loved his pizza too which was some sort of meat lovers pizza. You won’t regret stopping here!

We were sad to see Shaka was gone as we have enjoyed it ever since we came on our honeymoon 15 years ago. However this was a solid replacement and the dough was better but the sauce a bit sweet. They were smoking busy at 8 when we went to pickup at close and waited until 815 but was worth it and we crushed the food at our condo.

Black Rock Pizza is a welcome addition to Kihei, taking over the spot previously occupied by Shaka Pizza. Just from the smell of the food when you walk up you know you are in for a treat. We dined outdoors on the patio, which was clean and comfortable and capable of seating large parties (we were only a party of 7, but a party of 15 came in as we were finishing up). The service throughout the night was amazing (thank you Natalia!) and everything about the experience was incredible.

We came for lunch at Black Rock Pizza after a beautiful morning at the beach. The salads and pizzas were amazing, tasting fresh with a perfect balance of flavors and crust. Adding lots of good vibes with outdoor seating and very friendly service- we couldn’t ask for a better place to recharge. We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!!
