If you want comfort food, this is your place. If you want a good solid meal outside, of the same boring salads, you won’t find it here. It’s high calorie, fatty, salty foods. If that’s what you like, this is your place! There’s not much to choose from if you don’t want to feel like a lazy blob afterwards, except the same salads they have everywhere.

Visited for the first time. Very impressive food. This scratch kitchen food is excellent. Large portions of fresh food. I had the Alfredo pasta with broccoli and grilled chicken. My wife had the Buffalo chicken wrap with shoe string potatoes. Both were delicious. If your looking for a local jem this it it! We will be coming back again.

Very good food and the service was great. This little gem is surprisingly not busy during lunch on weekdays. It gets busier in the evenings. They have bingo and trivia nights. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Would come back here again.

Our first time here was a Sunday afternoon. We saw the sign go up a while back and we decided to stop in while shopping and we’re so glad we did! We absolutely loved our food! We started with deviled eggs which were really good. Our smashburgers and mac and cheese were incredibly fresh, even the side salad was great. Krista was our super friendly server and we tried her sangria and thought it was good too! They have a nice bar and cute atmosphere and everything in their kitchen is made from scratch, even all their dressings. We were pleasantly suprised and we will be going back!

I was extremely disappointed in our experience at Black Sheep American Pub today. The portion size of my Truffle Mac & Cheese was more like a side than a entrée and was not warm. My husband’s “Meatball Grinder” was three Walmart meatballs on a hot dog bun. The shoestring fries were over salted and a meager helping. At $10 for the “Meatball Grinder” and $13 for the Mac & Cheese I would have expected bigger portions. If you’re not very hungry and are going there to drink, you might be happy. I wouldn’t go back nor would I recommend.

It’s criminal that I haven’t been here before. The food was excellent, fast, and hot. To have all three of those at one establishment is a rarity. In addition to the food, the service was great. Chelsea, Melissa, and Scarlett made this such an enjoyable and fun atmosphere. Great drink specials throughout the week. Definitely a hidden bar/restaurant that packs a punch. Skip the chain restaurants up the street! This is what you’re looking for!

Black Sheep had a nice atmosphere, and servers were all very friendly. Loved the creativity of the menu/food names. Our food was okay. BBQ Mac and Cheese was really tasty but cold (like not even lukewarm), and the street corn was not great at all (I couldn’t eat it). I enjoyed the So Cluckin Good chicken and my girlfriend enjoyed the garden burger though. They did charge extra for the corn and the side of burger sauce we asked for on the side when they put it on the burger.. which we didn’t know about. Drinks were also pretty pricy for draft drinks. We may give Black Sheep another try in the future and just try other menu items.

May 2023: Been here many times in the interim. Have not been too impressed with the special menus (on special nights like Cinco de Mayo, which was when we went last night). Stick to the regular menu. But you can’t beat the friendly service. Trivia night is fun, but low key and not much participation. Have seen business picking up lately, but still not too crowded inside. Never a wait.
