Friendly and good service. Reasonable prices. I enjoyed a large coffee mug instead of the little cups you get at other places. Most of the food I had was tasty. The only food complaint was the small dry sausage patties. The decor is a bit to cold, like a old school cafeteria. I think if they reduced the fluorescent light and put in some warm lighting it would go a long way.

Friendly wonderful atmosphere and staff. Delicious food. Always the freshest ingredients cooked to order and served hot! They have gone above and beyond to accommodate during this entire pandemic and I know there wasn’t one single day that was easy but that didn’t stop them from not only trying but succeeding. The Black sheep diner has been and continues to be a blessing to our little community.

We visited The Black Sheep Diner for a quick lunch yesterday. They have a large menu plus a hot bar and salad bar so it was hard to choose. I decided on the Philly and onion rings plus a side salad and my friend got the chicken strips and onion rings. My salad came first and it was a generous portion for a side salad. It came with lettuce, tomatoes, shredded carrots, cucumbers, and red onions. All ingredients looked and tasted fresh, it was really good. The rest of our order came out timely and was fresh off the grill and out of the fryer. We were more than happy with the portion sizes. The Philly was composed of a good ratio of meat to veggies and it made for a tasty bite. The special sauce on the Philly is great and I could have used just a touch more. The hoagie got a little soggy and might would have held up a little better if it was toasted? The chicken strips were huge and looked great, my friend said they were really good. The order came with 3 but she could only eat 2 of them and asked for a to go box for the other. Good experience all around and it is great that they are so close to home.

Stopped in for lunch on our way back to Louisville after visiting South Union Shaker Village. Food was delicious! I had a smoked club sandwich! The owner came over and talked to us. Very friendly and clean. Music playing was nice as well! Will definitely be back!

The server’s were very friendly the food was really good and they gave you a good amount. I would have given it a 5 star. The only thing that was wrong was they didnt give us silverware till after we got our food and we had to wait till she come around to ask for it. But overall it was a good place to eat.

I’m so happy we tried this place recently. We just moved to the area and were told to try BSD. They offer curbside pickup, which has been a lot help with a toddler during this pandemic. The food is country comfort, I love the turkey bacon avocado sandwich!

Let me say I took the wife and Kiddos for dinner our first visit. Amazing service, awesome food very friendly staff and very clean atmosphere. Not to mention reasonable prices and large portions. This will be our go to family restaurant.
