My daughter and I went there for lunch and everything was amazing! She had the super fruit tea and I had the peach tea and both drinks were great! My daughter ordered the combination fried noodles and I ordered the honey walnut chicken. Both dishes were quite tasty! The service was impeccable! Definitely will be going back!

Very disappointed with our last 2 visits. For the second time our take out order had smaller portion sizes, lower standard of quality and this past visit even had items missing. We have been loyal customers of the restaurant and have always enjoyed the food. The price was high but the quality of the food and portions were worth spending the extra money. We almost always get the same order spending over $60 and even as high as $80. Unfortunately our last 2 visits have been upsetting. The portions in some items were cut in half. A cup of soup that normally came almost full was LESS than 1/2 a cup – rice was missing, chicken was cut smaller with more breading which dried the chicken out. The chicken fried rice for the second time hardly had any chicken and the pieces were grisly. The broccoli and beef dish didn’t even have enough broccoli for more than a few pieces for 2 adults and 1 child. And the beef in the dish was noticeable less. But the most shocking part if this experience was when we called to complain about the missing food from the order, decreased portions and an orange “tea” that was now basically an orange juice – the response was they changed syrups, a denial of decrease in portions size and regarding the missing food – a free drink with next order. We used to recommend the restaurant and like supporting small businesses but we will no longer be eating at this restaurant and we will be sure to not recommend it to family and friends. There are many other choices for small and family owned restaurants that truly appreciate the community frequenting their businesses. They have lost a loyal customer today.

We LOVE Black Straw! Absolutely delicious food dine in or takeout, huge portions, fresh flavors, friendly staff. Honestly cannot say enough! Worth the almost 30 minute drive to them! And the Boba is yummy with a wide variety of flavors

Only place for Boba like you find in Seattle! Plenty of flavors and dairy free options. Fried rice was really good and the portions are generous. Dine in or carry out. Dining area is clean and service is great.

Small place with more seating than expected. Pretty good food but the staff are awesome! Super friendly and doing their best. Did was delivered quickly and was really good. It does not have that classic Chinese restaurant feel but it’s totally worth it.

One of the best Chinese food places I’ve been too . Definitely recommend extend family style.. Pick a few things and everyone share because the portions are huge.. Plus they don’t do combination meals so this helps if you live eating a few different things…

Loved this place! A gal pal and myself were unsure where to eat, we were recommended this restaurant by a fellow coworker and we were not disappointed! The employees were very kind, the music was great, the boba was DELICIOUS, and the food was amazing! We ordered and within 10 minutes had our food! It was a large portion with appetizers and could easily be enough for 4 people.

Driving by this place you wouldn’t think much of it. But I have visited 4-5 times now and I can assure you this is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Spokane area. If you’re thinking of trying it, do it! You will not regret it
